Syria - Confusing Signals From Obama

Obama makes a show of backing off by appearing to leave the decision on a military strike to Congress, but his staff indicates that the outcome of  vote may not matter:

"President Obama is apparently leaving the door open to moving ahead with a military strike on Syria even if Congress votes against it, adding to the confusion over the president’s evolving position.

The president, in a surprise decision Saturday, announced he would seek a vote in Congress on launching a military attack against the Assad regime.

One senior State Department official, though, told Fox News that the president’s goal to take military action will indeed be carried out, regardless of whether Congress votes to approve the use of force.

Other senior administration officials said Obama is merely leaving the door open to that possibility. They say he would prefer that Congress approve a military attack on the Assad regime, in response to its alleged use of chemical weapons, and will wait to see what Congress does before making any final decisions on authorizing military force...."

Putin shows that he is a world leader who not only has real influence, but also common sense and a level head:

"Russian President Vladimir Putin urged President Barack Obama on Saturday not to rush into a decision on striking Syria, but to consider whether strikes would help end the violence and be worth the civilian casualties they would inevitably cause.

Speaking for the first time since the suspected chemical weapons attack on Aug. 21, Putin also questioned whether Syrian government troops should be held responsible. He said it would make no sense for them to carry out such a devastating attack while they were on the offensive.

"In such conditions, to give a trump card to those who are calling for foreign military intervention is foolish nonsense,"
Putin said....."

Putin has also demanded proof of the accusation that were leveled at the Syrian government by John  Kerry: He also affirmed what many of us have stated - that the use of nerve gas may have been an act committed by those who want the US to be drawn in on their side:

"Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded on Saturday the U.S. provide indisputable proof Syria employed the use of chemical weapons in an attack on the Damascus suburbs earlier this month, adding that such claims appeared to be “utter nonsense.” [That last comment must have seriously aggravated Obama]
“Regarding the position of our American colleagues, who affirm that government troops used… chemical weapons, and say that they have proof, well, let them show it to the United Nations inspectors and the Security Council,” Putin reportedly told journalists. “If they don’t show it, that means there is none.”

The Russian president, who has recently been at odds with President Obama, added the attack may have been a ploy to get the U.S. involved in an overseas conflict.

“[I] am convinced that [the chemical attack] is nothing more than a provocation by those who want to drag other countries into the Syrian conflict, and who want to win the support of powerful members of the international arena, especially the United States,” Putin reportedly said.'....."

The People of the US need to continue with their efforts to put a stop to this crime before it starts. It will be a good start in letting the world know that we are no longer going to be involved with choosing foreign leaders

See the post from yesterday (below) for possible consequences for the US if we fail to put an end to this.

Obama's Syrian Tantrum

Both incompetence or narcissism can spell trouble. One makes for continual mistakes, and general errors of judgement. The other is a personalty flaw that causes one to deny that any error could have resulted from a wrongful act or decision. When one is incompetent and a narcissist, it is a deadly combination; the entire edifice can be wrecked.

Note that I tend to lean towards a very slight manifestation of incompetence for Obama. He knows fully well that he intends to slowly being the US to its knees, and he will not stop until the job is done. The difference for him is that only when his normal smooth talk method does not work will he fall back on decisions that reek of incompetence.

Incompetence is not the primary cause of Obama's wrongful decisions, it is his default setting when his normal plans do not work out the way he hoped.

Obama needs to US have a list of enemies a mile long. For him, the US needs to be as isolated (and hated) and vulnerable as possible. Along with a ruined dollar and economy, this is needed to weaken the US to the point when she has no choice but to ultimately give in to UN control. That's why (aside from some moves on missiles and missile shields that should never have been begun in the first place) he made no effort to actually press his much-celebrated 'reset button" (one of the few times in which he said something right) with Russia. He also made (and still is making) every effort to remove all Middle/Near Eastern autocrats that for decades kept a lid on Islamists. He also seems to think that he can dictate to Western European countries to a far greater degree than the worse of which GW Bush was ever accused.

In Syria, Obama saw a golden opportunity. Another stable government that kept Islamists from running amok could be dethroned. All he needed was a damning accusation and the  UN and the Western World would join in. The US would get yet another enemy in the New Syria, the Russians would be more aggravated with us than ever, Iran would be at the boiling point, China would double-down on her plans to ensure our demise, the Western Europeans would tell themselves that "never again" would they help the US, and the Christians (his most common target) would be run out of Syria in toto.

It didn't work. The accusations of nerve agent attacks are looking like a classic False Flag operation that was perpetrated by the rebels to blame the government* and bring the US into the fray, the British House of Commons voted down the proposed use of force, France's Hollande (after first showing enthusiasm), quickly backed off and stated that he wanted to hear the findings of the UN investigators, Russia sent two warships to the Mediterranean (no doubt to serve as a reminder that we may be challenged), Iran threatened to jump in, the UN measure was dead in the water, the citizens of the US want no part of this, and no other nation came on board.

The calculating despot with evil intentions would cut his losses of influence and find a way to save face. Obama fell back to his default setting, which is gross incompetence:

"President Obama signaled Friday that the U.S. could act alone to punish Syria for a chemical weapons attack last week, saying the nation has an "obligation as a leader in the world" to hold rogue regimes to account for breaching the rules of war.

Facing rising skepticism in Congress and abroad, the president and top Cabinet officials tried to make a robust case for intervention on Friday -- releasing an intelligence report showing "high confidence" the Assad regime carried out the strike and arguing that responding would be in the U.S. interest.

"This kind of attack is a challenge to the world," Obama said, adding: "A lot of people think something should be done, but nobody wants to do it."......."

There you have it - a temper tantrum from a narcissist who, when faced with a loss, can only make the most stupid decisions possible. How is he supposed to turn the US into a despised nation when the rest of the world knows that even her people agree with just about every other nation that exists? If he in fact moves forward with his desired acts of aggression, the Nobel Peace Prize recipient will have not only done nothing to ruin the US. He will actually have helped her by forcing the rest of the world to redirect their frustrations away from the nation and onto the very guy who was trying to wreck the place. His temper tantrum will only serve to make the US look like a victim of the caprices of a vindictive American Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna - one who wreck his own plan if he is angry enough.

Like any incompetent narcissist, he will rail at John Kerry - and about David Cameron, for failing to be sufficiently persuasive to bring his plans to fruition. He will blame everyone but himself.

God "Thanked" for Abortion Laws, Abortion Doctors, etc.

Quick brief:
Unlike the main post for today, we actually do have something for which we can thank God. Obama may well wind up being thwarted in his efforts to gang up on the Syrian government. The reason? Well, he does not seem to have much of a gang in the first place:

"British lawmakers on Thursday voted against military intervention in Syria, in a major setback for both British Prime Minister David Cameron and the Obama administration in their push to punish the Assad regime for an alleged chemical weapons strike....."

The vote was quite close, but the point was made.

Warships from the Russian Navy have also been dispatched to the Mediterranean, and their presence may well be sufficient to persuade Obama to drop the whole idea.

Am I the only one who sees the irony here? A formerly atheistic nation that supports the Russian Orthodox Church and has refused to be cowed by the radical gay agenda is sending armed vessels to, despite the official claims of the Russian government,  let what is becoming the world's most thoroughly Godless nation in the world know that it can't do what it wants. (See yesterday's post on the probability that it was the rebels who committed  the nerve gas attack) Maybe the Christians of Syria will be saved if Obama backs down.

Main post:

Again we are reminded that the "Orwellian twilight of the West" (See Below) is not only fast approaching but is also becoming ingrained into our way of life.

".....A video going around conservative blogs today shows gubernatorial candidates joining pro-choice advocates in a curious invocation at the state capitol on Wednesday. The Iowa Republican has more about the controversial event:

Iowa Democrat gubernatorial candidates Jack Hatch and Tyler Olson joined 50 pro-abortion activists in an extended prayer for abortion rights during a rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday. The noon event was meant to fire-up liberals prior to an afternoon hearing across the street conducted by the Iowa Board of Medicine regarding tele-med abortions.

They made the unusual decision, for Democrats, to begin the event with a prayer. This was likely in response to a prayer vigil being conducted by pro-life activists at the same time nearby.

Des Moines activist Midge Slater took the podium and spent five and a half minutes thanking God for abortion rights, abortion doctors and taxpayer funding for abortions. She also referred to the decision to have an abortion as “a blessing”.

.......Praising “the blessing of choice,” she went on to thank God for abortion doctors and to appeal that the Lord ensure elected officials continue to afford women the right to terminate.

“We give thanks, oh Lord, for the doctors, both current and future, who provide quality abortion care…,” Slater said. “We pray for our elected officials, that they will always support a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions.”......."

Referring to women who, do to being informed by another that Life is sacred and that a loving God does not condone the slaughter of innocents, may have had second thoughts about taking the easy way out:

....."“We pray for women who have been made afraid of their own power by their materialistic religion. May they learn to reject fear and live bravely,” she added.

Yes, of course. The courageous move is to take the easy way out and have an abortion. It certainly couldn't be the decision to have the baby. Could there exist a more clear example of NewSpeak and Doublethink? One should also note the blatant projection in the use of the word 'materialist". The widespread acceptance of living one's life while making no effort to contribute to population growth, as well as the motivation behind many abortionist in the West, is the desire to spend one's wealth on - and have more free time for, his or herself. How many people wind up creating a pregnancy and then react to it by being upset that they may not be able to go to college full time and get that big job? Ergo, abortions  are often the prime example of materialistic attitudes in our society. Ms. Slater in keenly aware of this fact, so she projects the blame onto they who accept that people are sometimes faced with responsibilities that may result in having a lower standard of living.

As this point, God is a verboten subject in our society unless He is invoked for, or said to support, wrongful acts.

"Obama Blesses Planned Parenthood and Their Work

In the Orwellian twilight of the West-

That quote, taken from Colin McEvedy and first applied to today in this post*, was originally used to describe the societal conditions of the last decades of the Western Roman Empire. When we consider the utter deluge of word-play, making the bad good and vice-versa, to which we are continually subjected, I find that it is more applicable now more than ever.

After praising the staff and actions of Planned Parenthood last month, Obama added a finishing touch that outdid anything that George Orwell could have imagined:

"According to the transcript, Obama concluded his speech by thanking the organization and by invoking God: “Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you. God bless America. Thank you."

I guess that the first and main point that should be made is that Obama was not blessing PP and their staff of bloody henchmen in the Christian sense. His conclusion gave no hint of a Christ-like compassion followed by a directive of  "Go and sin no more". No, he was invoking the blessings of the Creator and Father for their actions that make PP what it is - a taxpayer-driven machine of slaughter and degradation of women, young and old alike and an organization that encourages men to use women without consequence.

In magic, the being which is being invoked is supposed to be bound to act by the words of the speaker. This differs considerably from Christian thought, which holds that,  in the words of consecration for example, it is God himself who is not only doing the work of changing the substance of the offerings but is also the cause of the Priest's words and actions. Catholic teaching is clear on this - even the most mundane good act is a direct  result of God's grace; it is not the work of man.

I suspect that Obama somehow decided that, in calling God's blessings on those who commit these crimes and the gruesome products of the same, his act would compel the Creator to bless those who labor to destroy his very acts of creation.

The pastors that remarked on Obama's statement were quite correct in referring to it as blasphemy.

Yet again we see 1984's Newspeak and Doublethink applied to confuse speech and thought. Acts that defy God and undo his work are not only good, they are also to be sanctioned and blessed by the same undermined Being - at the bidding of a man who inexplicably has more than on place of birth. The people are treated as if they cannot comprehend the difference between right and wrong, and some revel in their self-imposed deception.

One thing is certain - Obama has no fear whatsoever of He who made him.

I can only reassert my position that we have no option but to effect a divorce of our already-irreconcilably split society. By fighting abortion, euthanasia, radical atheists suing against a cross in a park, enslavement by welfare of many, purposefully-imposed illiteracy in our schools**(At bottom), the attacks on our historical legacy in the same, legislative play-acting for fake marriages, and every other piece of destruction, we are barely putting out flare-ups while a conflagration grips our nation. We have to do what we can to save a remnant of our society that was also given to us by God. See posts below:

To paraphrase the ten northern tribes of Israel - "What share have we in the House of The United States of today? To your still-salvageable states, Oh America!"

Syrian Rebels Used Sarin Gas - UN Prosecutor (Video)

Hat tip to Gates of Vienna.

I have held for a long time that the Syrian rebels would use chemical weapons, probably on Christian, Alawite, Shiite, or Druze civilians. They know that Obama is champing at the bit to dive into the fray and if he could tell the world that he had proof of chemical weapons being employed by the Syrian government he would have his justification for doing so. They also know that the White House would be happy to turn a blind eye to the actual perpetrators and accept the claim that the rebels were the innocent party.

I read a recent  article in which it was reported that, although the doctors who treated and attended to the victims did say that they bodily effects were consistent with nerve agents, the injuries were not consistent with those of weapons grade nerve agents. This would fit well with a rebel False Flag operation aimed at bringing in the US by setting up the government forces. Given that the Japanese cult made their own Sarin gas and used it on a Tokyo subway a number of years ago, I hold that there is a better than good chance that the rebels either made or acquired Sarin gas and used it to blame the government.

First, here is quick briefing from my Marine Corps days. Nerve gas types are classified as either persistent or non-persistent. The latter will come in forms similar to insect killer sprays, which dissipate quickly and leave little to no residual effects. These are not very effective if used to harm people as the dead and wounded can be attended to without ill effects for the responding personnel. Non-persistent gas also can be carried away by a change in wind direction, leaving very few casualties. The affected area of course can be immediate reoccupied. Persistent types have a  medium that makes a sort of oily film that sticks to everybody and everything in the area. This retards evaporation and contaminates the dead, injured, and the affected area  for a much longer period.

".....The charity Medecins Sans Frontieres [Doctors Without Borders] said 3,600 people were admitted to hospitals where it had a presence, all suffering "neurotoxic symptoms". A total of 355 died people in the attacks.

Dan Kaszeta, a former officer in the US Army's Chemical Corps, said tell-tale signs of a chemical weapons attack were conspicuously absent from footage shot in the aftermath of the attack.

He said medics treating the victims would have been expected to suffer serious health problems after coming into direct and prolonged contact with the victims, in the absence of protective clothing.

"None of the people treating the casualties or photographing them are wearing any sort of chemical-warfare protective gear," said Kaszeta.

"Despite that, none of them seem to be harmed."

He said the lack of any adverse effects in doctors treating the victims would rule out the use of most military-grade chemical weapons.

The vast majority of nerve gases, such as the Sarin gas stockpiled in large quantities by the Syrian regime, do not evaporate immediately, but leave residual contamination on clothes and skin. That level of contamination would cause severe harm to those coming in contact with victims in the hours after the attack, particularly when used at sufficient strength to kill hundreds of people.

Kaszeta added: "There are none of the other signs you would expect to see in the aftermath of a chemical attack, such as intermediate levels of casualties, severe visual problems, vomiting and loss of bowel control."

Steve Johnson, an expert in hazardous material exposure at England's Cranfield University, agreed.

Johnson, who has worked with Britain's Ministry of Defence on chemical warfare issues, said it was a surprising that the contamination was not more widespread.

"From the details we have seen so far, a large number of casualties over a wide area would mean quite a pervasive dispersal," he said.

"With that level of chemical agent, you would expect to see a lot of contamination on the casualties coming in, and it would affect those treating them who are not properly protected. We are not seeing that here."........"

-From Gates of Vienna:

"Carla Del Ponte is a Swiss lawyer, a retired UN official, and a former prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). These weighty credentials qualify her as the most prominent non-Russian skeptic so far on the issue of the Syrian regime’s use of chemical weapons in Damascus.
This is not Ms. Del Ponte’s first dissent against received wisdom: she gained notoriety a few years ago while still at ICTY by exposing the Kosovars’ harvesting of organs from Serbian prisoners of war. Her efforts on behalf of Serbian victims show that she is not in thrall to the NATO narrative, but she is hardly a lapdog for the Russians — her prosecutorial position with the ICTY is evidence enough of that........."

-From Assyrian International News Agency

"Testimony from victims strongly suggests it was the rebels, not the Syrian government, that used Sarin nerve gas during a recent incident in the revolution-wracked nation, a senior U.N. diplomat said Monday.

Carla del Ponte, a member of the U.N. Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria, told Swiss TV there were "strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof," that rebels seeking to oust Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad had used the nerve agent.

But she said her panel had not yet seen any evidence of Syrian government forces using chemical weapons, according to the BBC, but she added that more investigation was needed.........
Ms. del Ponte, a former Swiss prosecutor and attorney general, told Swiss TV: "Our investigators have been in neighboring countries interviewing victims, doctors and field hospitals. According to their report of last week, which I have seen, there are strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof of the use of sarin gas, from the way the victims were treated."........."

US Action Against Syria Threatens WWIII

One brief before main post - The collapse of our society is increasing its pace:

In Montana, a man who had sex with a 14 year-old girl (An act of rape - plain and simple), who later committed suicide, has been given a sentence that literally cries out for justice. The judge, who clearly fears neither the judgement of society nor God, suspended all but a month of his 15-year prison sentence. What is worse, the judge essentially assigned equal blame to the victim:

"A former high school teacher in Montana who pleaded guilty to raping a 14-year-old student who later killed herself has been sentenced to 30 days in jail by a judge who said the victim was "older than her chronological age" and "as much in control of the situation" as the teacher."

I don't know what to say in response to this.

"The Billings Gazette reports ( ) District Judge G. Todd Baugh sentenced 54-year-old Stacey Dean Rambold to 15 years in prison, with all but 31 days suspended. He also gave Rambold credit for one day already served.

The girl's mother repeatedly screamed, "You people suck!" and stormed out of the courtroom Monday......"

Aside from the willful malcarriage of justice (miscarriage could mean the judge was merely incompetent), it appears that even the prosecution was only restarted after the animal was dropped (after failing to appear for scheduled sessions) from a sex offender program. Why was he even in the program before he began serving his actual sentence?

According to the BillingsGazette article, the prosecutors do not plan to appeal the sentence. They too need to be drawn and quartered - and I am not exaggerating.

"....Yellowstone County Attorney Scott Twito told The Associated Press on Tuesday that he would not appeal the judge's sentence.

"We respect the court's sentencing decision. We obviously disagree with it, based on the recommendations my attorneys made, but it appears to be legally permissible," he said...."

I have been outspoekn against military moves against Syria for a long time, but until today I have focused on the obvious outcome that Christians will be tithe killed off or driven out of the country in which many families go back almost two thousand years. Glenn Beck noted the one reality that should bring fear to anyone who has no real concern for Religion of Peace practitioners being able to compete their pogrom.

Beck correctly notes that a military strike against Syria may well have dire consequences for the US. We may bring ourselves into a global war. Note too that we are certainly not the sole superpower anymore and that we are declining in strength. Someday, the world will tr urn on us and it will not be pretty. Russia* understandably is fed up with being ignored, China is fast growing in strength, and the EU would not be likely to come to out side if we get dealt our comeuppance.

I have little doubt that Obama and his crew would be quite happy with that result. Let's face it - there is no way that Obama could have been that stupid on that many occasions. Even stupid people sometimes make the right decision:

"Glenn Beck warned America in the strongest of terms on Tuesday that military intervention in Syria could lead to World War III, with the United States squaring off against China, Russia and Iran.

Beck’s warning came as Secretary of State John Kerry said it is “undeniable” that chemical weapons have been used in Syria, something President Barack Obama has called a “red line” that would change our approach to the nation’s civil war.................

“Why?” Beck asked. “Because today Russia and now China have added their name to the list of, ‘Don’t do anything in Syria.’ So now we have Russia, Iran and China telling us, ‘mind your own business.’”

Unless the U.S. is willing to get into World War III against the aforementioned powers and poke “another hornet’s nest” of Islamic extremism, Beck said, you have to be “out of your mind” to intervene.

“We don’t survive that,” he said.

“You go against China, who buys all of our debt?” he asked, adding that Russia has already begun turning arms shipments from America to the Middle East.

“Don’t screw with this,” he said. “This is World War III in the making.”

In addition to condemning Christians to lose the homes of their ancestors, we are being set up for a very big fall.

"The US had a grand opportunity for a easy win-win relationship with Russia. I can't even begin to imagine the range and scale of business partnerships that could have been made. We could have had a ready and able partner to balance against the military and economic growth with China. Russia's strategic location would have been ideal for coordinating anti-terror operations instead of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. Unlike Eastern or Muslim-majority nations, they think and act more like we do. They also have a long tradition of an Apostolic Christianity.
Instead, we took advantage of their economic turmoil and trouble with Chechnya, rounded up their old Warsaw Pact satellites and former USSR countries, and brought them either into NATO or trained and supplied them in an manner that could be seen as provocative or threatening to Russia. We also created another missile threat for them. Those missiles, if they were only intended for defense against Iran, could have been deployed in a manner that did not make the Russians feel as if they were being targeted and pushed into a corner.
-Now, having regained their footing, they are letting us know that the Bear was not quite dead.....
We really screwed this one up badly. The Russians don't take kindly to being treated as aslo-rans or has-beens. Russia is too inherently strong to be brushed aside. This is why they conducted naval maneuvers with Venezuela a while back, invaded a region of Georgia in which many Russians lived, and are letting us know that their bombers can reach us. They in all likelihood expected that the end of the Cold War would see an era of cooperation between Russia and the US. That image was conveniently shattered by a smug US.
.....and now, unless we pull back withing our borders, which may be necessary soon anyway if the dollar collapses, we will have to contend with the rise of hostile elements of  China, Islam, and Russia.
Those of course are in addition to the rise of Leftism in the US, which is an internal threat that itself threatens the onset of civil war."

Senior Master Sgt. Sacked for Marriage Stance - by His Commander

Quick brief:

US Secretary of State John Kerry made official today what is most likely the False Flag claim that forces loyal to Assad were the ones responsible for using chemical weapons. He added that the US is seeking support for military airstrikes, presumably from a possibly compliant EU. Russia, fortunately has indicated that she is not convinced that the blame has been correctly placed and is warning against any moves at this point.

Which got me thinking-

Am I crazy, or does Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel always look like he just finished a three-day bender?

What is being done to our military is far worse than making it a proving ground for social engineering in the US; it is the first organization of many to come in which one will be ruined for the mere act of admitting that certain behaviors are wrongful. Even when you have made very effort to keep your thoughts to yourself, you will be compelled to tell them what they want to hear or face the consequences.

"Senior Master Sgt. Phillip Monk has served in the U.S. Air Force for 19 years with a clean service record. But his new lesbian commander has relieved him of duty and is threatening his career, allegedly because of his Christian beliefs regarding gay marriage. Officials are investigating as Monk appeals his punishment.

Monk was First Sergeant of the 326th Training Squadron, stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. According to his attorneys, Monk recently returned from a deployment and found he had a new commander, Maj. Elisa Valenzuela, who is openly lesbian.

Monk explained to Fox News that in one of their first meetings, Valenzuela discussed wanting a chaplain to offer a benediction, but she, “objected to one particular chaplain that she called a bigot because he preached that homosexuality is a sin.” Monk says the commander’s response was, “I don’t know what kind of people actually believe that kind of crap.”

Monk is a devout evangelical Christian, and as such he believes marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

Fox News’ Todd Starnes reported that there was an episode involving Valenzuela with an Air Force trainer discussing gay marriage. The trainer referenced the decline of the Roman Empire, and Monk explained to Shannon Bream on Fox & Friends that the trainer was lecturing on how such issues can divide society with detrimental effects.

Valenzuela allegedly wanted to harshly punish this trainer, and solicited Monk’s recommendations on how to respond. Monk suggested the commander use it as an opportunity to teach tolerance and diversity instead. Valenzuela told Monk that they were not on the same page, and that if he did not get on his commander’s page he would not be allowed to continuing serving in his current position.

Then Valenzuela gave Monk an order, demanding Monk tell her whether he regards those who oppose gay marriage as discriminating against homosexuals. His attorneys add that he was told that supporting gay marriage was now military policy, and that he was not allowed to disagree with that policy."

Note that, in the Uniform Code of Military Justice, there is a strict difference between a Lawful Order that is given by a Non-Commissioned Officer (Sergeants and Petty Officers) and a Direct Order, which is given by a Commissioned Officer (Lieutenant/Ensign and above). Unless the latter consists of an inherently illegal act, it must be followed. In the event of a disciplinary process following the refusal to carry out a Lawful Order, the accused may have a chance of defending himself if he can provide an affirmative defense - a clear reason why the order could not be followed without resulting in a breakdown of order or a gross violation of procedure. In the case of a Direct Order, subordinates do not have the same luxury - the mere act of an officer clearly stating his desire is sufficient to be considered to have the effect of a direct order. If following the Direct Order does not requiring breaking a law, then it must be carried out. If a soldier has been tasked with staffing a guard post, and a Commissioned Officer orders him to leave that post without proper relief, as long as the soldier informed the officer that leaving the post would render it unguarded he is required to leave that post. (Of course local rules may be different, such as when guarding Nuclear Weapons, but you get the idea).

Valenzuela used her authority to force Senior Master Sergeant Monk to provide an answer that he tried to avoid giving.

"Monk claims he responded that he could not answer Valenzuela’s question the way she wanted, and that he feared expressing his true beliefs could put him in legal jeopardy.

Monk was then relieved of his duties.

“I was essentially fired for not validating my commander’s position [regarding] homosexual marriage,” Monk explained to Fox News................"

[Unit Spokesperson Collen] McGee also provided Breitbart News with Local Operating Instruction 36-03. Section forbids language that “degrades, belittles, or demeans,” or “slanders” anyone’s “sexual orientation,” and includes specifically that language can be forbidden if it insinuates that such conduct is “immoral.” When asked if observant Christians expressing orthodox Christian beliefs regarding sexuality and/or marriage would be regarded as violating this prohibition, McGee had no comment.

[Liberty Institute Council Jeff] Mateer says this incident is part of a pattern emerging throughout the military under President Obama. Mateer says many service members do not “come forward publicly due to fear of retribution, which would destroy their military careers.” Mateer explains that these instances are increasingly widespread, but most service members feel constrained not to speak out because they want to keep serving their country and also need to provide for their families.

Breitbart News has reported in recent months about serious threats to religious liberty—especially for observant Christians—in the military. As previously reported, the Obama-Hagel Pentagon held a series of meetings with an anti-Christian activist with a record of making shockingly-offensive statements against service members of traditional faith, and recently an ordained Christian chaplain was officially censored for merely quoting the old adage that there are no atheists in fox holes..........."

The pace of attacks, firings, and censuring is not going to slow down one bit. The Beast has momentum , and it has no plans to lose this opportunity to not only silence people, but to force them to confess agreement its agenda.

Sonderkommando Tim Wise Back at Anti-White Racism

Know thine enemy-

"The Republican Party is a “white nationalist, Afrikaner, Boer party,” author and “anti-racism activist” Tim Wise alleged on MSNBC Friday.

The comments came during a discussion about whether or not there is a double-standard of gun shooting coverage, with Wise accusing the right of using the murder of Chris Lane to “make white Americans think that black folks are trying to get us.”.............

Wise concluded, saying the GOP has “essentially gone in as a white nationalist, Afrikaner, Boer party.”

“That’s where they are at this point,” he added."

Tim Wise, who is white,  is an old hand at the volunteer Sonderkommando business. An avid advocate of the agenda to make whites detest their ancestry and to have them attribute the fruits of their own labors solely  to their skin color, Wise has been at the forefront of the anti-white racism movement.

Wise has made headlines before with his program to convince whites that they are a privileged class. He was behind the White Privilege seminar at Colorado University a while back, and I suspect that he also just may have had something to do with a video made and aired at the University of Minnesota-Duluth:

Faced with a growing realization that, despite the media blackout on such trends,  there is an enormous problem of black-on-white violence (along with the tragedy of black-on;black violence), people of Wise's ilk are understandably desperate. They have invested so much time and energy into telling white people that they have it easy and enjoy virtual immunity from punishment for harming blacks and yet the overwhelmingly contradictory data has become harder to hide. To the contrary, the reality that whites are targeted by blacks in violent crimes far more often than the converse is fast turning into a real problem for the Social Engineers.

For Wise to have puled out terms from the Apartheid days that, in modern verbiage, have come to have connotations barely a half a step away from the Ku Klux Klan and the Nazis in indicative of the state of near panic of people who have dedicated their lives to undermining people who have never harmed them. Their carefully constructed and media (and Obama)-protected veil has been shown to be a complete fake.

-From previous posts. Original sources for quotes can be accessed in the two links provided two paragraphs above:

White students are being trained to hate everything about themselves, other whites, the society that bred them, and the history and civilization that gave birth to this country.

I have noted on previous posts (Two are below) that colleges in the US have been more than largely taken over by radical Leftists, particularly of the brand that specifically detests Western Civilization. Students are either forced to take, or are given handouts of college credits for attending, classes in "Whiteness' or "White Privilege  studies. These are geared primarily towards turning American whites into Sonderkomanndos who are tasked with dismantling everything that concerns our cultural and historical legacy.

A white never earns his or her credibility, education, job, or anything else; all of these are the fruits of an unfair system that bestows privileges solely on account of one's birth.

The United States is not a Western nation, except when it is, at which point it is evil because precisely due to the fact that it is a Western nation.

"The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (UCCS) is offering students up to four college credits if they attend the public university’s 14th annual “White Privilege Conference,” Campus Reform reports..........

“I am privileged,” reads black text on an all white background. “I can if I wish arrange to be around people of my race most of the time.”

The video continues:

“I can go shopping fairly assured I won’t be followed or harassed.”

“When I’m told about our national heritage or about ‘civilization’ I am shows that people of my color made it what it is.”

“I can, whether I use checks, credit cards or cash, count on my skin color not to work against my appearing financially reliable.”

“I don’t have to educate my children to be aware of systemic racism for their own daily protection.”

“I can choose blemish cover or bandages in ‘flesh’ color and have them more or less match my skin.”

“I cannot be blind to the invisible system of privilege I am a part of,” the video concludes........"

Continuing to ignore what is going on will have one result- The electorate of the US will tilt irrevocably towards the anti-US and Leftist camp. National elections will no longer even be a contest, for too many voters will have been brainwashed to hate themselves and be overwhelmed by "white guilt". This guilt will be manifested in the election of more candidates who will assuage the self-hatred by having them accept increasing degrees of marginalization, more control, and crushing taxation to pay for more reeducation.

A culture that has protected the rights of free speech/press, self-defense, religion, property, jury by trial, the individual, true representative government, and changed to protect women and the oppressed (And even prior to this women enjoyed far better conditions than elsewhere) is the bad culture. World cultures such as those of Islamic societies and China that still deny or severely restrict these rights are the good ones.

White privilege is a concept similar to that of Obama's old favorite "Critical Race Theory". Along with college courses in "Whiteness Studies", these ideas are advanced with the intention of keeping the fires of racism alive in our minds. The ultimate goal is to keep whites both in a state of perpetual "White guilt" and to keep them on the defensive at all times. Colleges around the nation have been pushing this agenda for quite some time. The University of Delaware recently made Whiteness Studies mandatory for all students. There, whites have to endure all sorts of abuse and accusations from fellow students while the professors smugly demonize all cultures and societies created by whites.

What one is supposed to believe is that, no matter how far we have come, whites are born into a privileged state even today. This can only be remedied by subjecting them to a state of bondage in which they would be required to keep their mouths shut and acquiesce to whatever demands are made, be it more affirmative action, dumbed-down curriculums and standardized testing (For schools and for jobs), higher taxes to pay for more programs, rabid historical revisionism that paints the worst possible picture of any notable whites, what have you.

On a playing field in which White Privilege has been put forth as an assumed truth, whites are not to be allowed to complain about anything let alone make any complaints about how they believe that they are being treated. To paraphrase the advocates of White Privilege - "You have nothing to complain about. You're white, therefore, you can only be the beneficiary of the racist system that was created by the nation's founders. You need to accept any and all changes that we want. Only when we decide that your position is no longer one of privilege will you have the right to speak your mind. Until then, you need to be brushed aside and do what we tell you to do."...............

"The University of Minnesota – Duluth (UMD) is now sponsoring an ad-campaign designed to achieve “racial justice” by raising awareness of “white privilege.”

The project disseminates its message, that “society was setup for us [whites]“ and as such is ”unfair,” through an aggressive campaign of online videos, billboards, and lectures. The ads feature a number of Caucasians confessing their guilt for the supposed “privilege” that comes along with their fair features.[...]

“You give me better jobs, better pay, better treatment, and a better chance – all because of the color of my skin,” reads one poster that features a close shot of a Caucasian male.

The Un-Fair campaign also held a series of lectures and events on campus last semester. One included a presentation by Tim Wise, author of Dear White America. In his book, Wise confesses a “longstanding fantasy” where he turns to a man with a “God Bless the USA” button and asks him, “why can’t you just get over it?”

"For all y’all rich folks, enjoy that champagne, or whatever fancy ass Scotch you drink.

And for y’all a bit lower on the economic scale, enjoy your Pabst Blue Ribbon, …

Whatever the case, and whatever your economic station, know this . . .

You need to drink up.

And quickly.

And heavily.

Because your time is limited.[...]

And in the pantheon of American history, old white people have pretty much always been the bad guys, the keepers of the hegemonic and reactionary flame, the folks unwilling to share the category of American with others on equal terms.

Fine, keep it up. It doesn’t matter.

Because you’re on the endangered list.

And unlike, say, the bald eagle or some exotic species of muskrat, you are not worth saving."

We have been faced with this agenda for a long time, but the campaign has been strongly stepped up of late. I personally believe that the new offensive is occurring now due to the difficulties that the Obama campaign is experiencing.

In a typical "Year Zero" mentality, nothing honorable or good for humanity that was accomplished by whites is mentioned or allowed into the conversation. The ban on the global slave trade (Although blacks are still enslaved in more than one region in Africa), an horrific civil war fought almost entirely about slavery (Sorry, but the historical evidence is too strong to deny that one), the fact that mainly white Church bodies were almost the only groups condemning slavery, the desegregation of the American South, the acceptance of vast amounts of refugees from third-world nations, or any other virtuous action can not be entered into the debate.

One's work ethic, the willingness to postpone life decisions such as marriage and children, frugality in spending in order to at some point accumulate any property, or moral compass can not be cited in defense of what you have or are working to have. You have (or will obtain) what you have exclusively by virtue of your aristocratic white birth, and nothing else.

We must fight back with the truth, and in a determined fashion. I for one worked too hard, at too many backbreaking jobs, and put off too many purchases to be fooled into feeling guilty

Defense Dept. - Colonial Patriots Were Extremists

As the force projection of the United States Navy is being staged for possible move against the government of Syria to effect the end of Christianity in that nation, word comes from our own Department of Defense that there were extremists in our own history where we least expected them:

Our history is now being rewritten not only by Leftists in academia, but also by those who set policy for our armed forces.

U.S. Department of Defense education materials obtained by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, warn of “extremists” that will “talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.” Judicial Watch and other conservative media outlets claim the disclosure indicates the department is teaching that conservative views are “extremist” in nature.

The guide is reportedly authored by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, a Defense Department-funded diversity training center. Further, the documents cite the left-leaning Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) when identifying “hate groups.”

• Under a section labeled “Extremist Ideologies” the document states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

Don't believe it? OK, here is the document:

Page 43

"D. Extremist Ideologies
1. Introduction
• As noted, an ideology is a set of political beliefs about the nature of people and
society. People who are committed to an ideology seek not only to persuade but to
recruit others to their belief. In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist
ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British
rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just
two examples....."

Let's be clear. Extremists are bad guys. Colonists who sought to separate their colonies from the Crown were extremists. Ergo, our patriots who struggled against Great Britain were extremists and therefore bad guys.

No matter how one tries to explain this one away, we can't ignore what it says. The people who founded our nation were extremists. If we want to follow this to its logical conclusion, we would have to drop the Constitution and officially apply for Commonwealth status with the UK.

We have just witnessed what has got to be far and away most atrocious and evil example of the revisionism of our history. The people whose labors and sacrifices we once were taught to honor are now to be considered as people who should have been detested and stopped.

The way the Defense Department would have it told to our troops - people who stand for Liberty and, most importantly since few then wanted full independence, their rights as Americans (at that time Englishmen) are extremists; the same people who should be reported to the authorities for investigation and possible arrest or armed action.

I got back very late and am quite worn out. I will leave you with this:

Not only do we have two distinct countries within what may someday become the former American Republic, our military commanders are fully on board with the Statists; so much so that they will cooperate with them in efforts to brainwash our troops to think of old and new patriots as people to be suppressed by force.

The time for complaining among our friends and family is over.

Photographer Found to Violate Human Rights for Refusing Gay Ceremony

Like the recent cases involving a florist, a baker, and a wedding hall owner (Links below), the totalitarian state is fast coming to fruition. In the case of a photographer in New Mexico, it was that state's supreme court that handed down this despicable decision.

Those who still hold that we still have a chance of repairing the terrible breach between the two Americas have little on which to base their opinion..

"It is a state court decision that could have national reach. In the words of Red State’s Erik Erickson, “You will be made to care.”

The New Mexico Supreme Court ruled Thursday that a Christian wedding photographer violated the state’s human rights law by refusing to photograph a same-sex commitment ceremony.

This shouldn’t be the end of the matter, said Ken Klukowski, the director for Center for Religious Liberty at the conservative Family Research Council.

“This decision would stun the framers of the U.S. Constitution, is a gross violation of the First Amendment, and should now be taken up by the U.S. Supreme Court to reaffirm the basic principle that the fundamental rights of free speech and the free exercise of religion do not stop at the exit door of your local church, and instead extend to every area of a religious person’s life,” he said in a written statement.

Klukowski added, “Rather than live-and-let-live, this is forcing religious Americans to violate the basic teachings of their faith, or lose their jobs.”

The Albuquerque-based photography studio Elane Photography did not want to photograph the ceremony between Vanessa Willock and Misti Collinsworth because studio co-owner Elaine Huguenin said it would violate her Christian beliefs and that the company only photographs traditional marriages.

The majority opinion for the court stated that the studio violated the rights of the lesbian couple “in the same way as if it had refused to photograph a wedding between people of two different races.”......."

In the United States, the velvet-covered glove on the totalitarian fist will not send one to the gulags or consign the accused to a bullet in the head by one of Beria's henchmen, but you will be ruined financially. Today, if you have any desire to avoid comprising your beliefs or your integrity, you are left with no option but to shut yourself up inside your own home - one that you will not be likely to afford since you will have very few employment options.

Unlike the other cases noted above, which are linked below, this New Mexico case should make one realize how dreadful the situation has become. In the others, the cases are in their early stages. This case, though  has gone as far as it can within the State of New Mexico. The Supreme Court of that state has declared that a citizen has no right of discretion whatsoever. With this precedent, I find it hard to argue that anyone has the right to refuse to participate in anything that runs contrary to his beliefs. A baker will now likely be prohibited from refusing to make a cake with writing stating that God does not exist. The radical gay agenda appears to be the most vindictive and intolerant movement that this nation has seen in a very long time.

The :Left and their radical allies will not brook any offer of dialogue or an attempt to reach a middle ground. No, what they want is everything. In this case, they demand the legal allowance (euphemistically called a "right" as if rights have their origin with governing bodies) for an institution that predates governments themselves and legal prohibitions of opting to refrain from providing a service for something that would effectively make one complicit in the act itself. In work environments, people have already been informed that failing to speak (Read keeping your mouth shut) with someone about their "marriage" as if it is authentic will be perceived as "disapproval"** - itself the new high crime of our era. Soon, churches will be subject to penalties from refusing  to perform these ceremonies and the people will be prohibited from noting that these acts are not only immoral but in fact do not exist despite the exercise of legislative and judicial play-acting.

Even if the person does not contest the legitimacy of the ceremony but just wants to refrain from being a part of the act, he is in trouble.

Don't kid yourself - this and more is on the way.

"My friends, the case of Elane Photography v. Willock has been decided. As I tell you regularly, you will be made to care.

The case centered around Elaine Huguenin, a Christian in New Mexico who owned a photography business. She was asked to provide services to a gay commitment ceremony between two lesbians, Vanessa Willock and her partner. Ms. Huguenin and her husband declined to provide their services because they are Christians and the orthodox tenets of their faith tell them that marriage is between a man and a woman. See e.g. Matthew 19.

Vanessa Willock, in an act of spite and retribution, decided to file a discrimination claim and punish Mrs. Huguenin for adhering to her religious beliefs. In a very profound decision, the New Mexico Supreme Court ruled that Christians, Muslims, Orthodox Jews, and others must surrender the faithful practice of their religion in the name of citizenship.

Note that the tolerance is one way. In the name of tolerance, Mrs. Huguenin can be compelled by state power on pain of punishment to provide her services to Ms. Willock against Mrs. Huguenin’s several thousand year old orthodox religious beliefs, but Ms. Willock is under no obligation to simply tolerate those who disagree with her and find someone who is happy to provide the service....."

This appears to be headed to the Federal Courts of Appeals. I don't know what district New Mexico falls within, but there is no question that the case-has to be fought until the right side wins (Probably ending with the Supreme Court of the United States) or the people give up the delusion that this republic can be salvaged as an intact entity.

-Excerpts from previous posts:

In most states, hunters are protected by law from being harassed while they are hunting. Anti-hunters are also barred from walking through the woods blaring horns and blowing whistles to drive away game animals. An anti-hunting vendor who runs a printing shop or one that makes T-shirts cannot refuse service to a customer simply because he hunts, but if the hunter wants to order a bunch of shirts or have pamphlets made to promote an actual hunting event, no one would bat an eye if the vendor refused to fill that order - and rightly so. I do hunt and I also respect that some people are quite uncomfortable with anything related to that type of activity.

One writer noted a few months ago in The American Thinker that, if a vendor happened to be a Muslim, not only would he never be requested to provide a service for such a ceremony in the first place, no one would line up to initiate attacks against him for his certain refusal of service. Citing his beliefs, the state would not sue or prosecute him for discrimination and no coward that attacks Christians because they are perceived as weak would be bold enough to attack him.
In the US, only Christians and Jews can be subjected to routine, vicious attacks.
------------------------------------------------------- the Orwellian twilight of the West....

Colin McEvedy applied this phrase to the economic and political conditions of the last centuries of the Western Roman Empire. The Roman republic had collapsed in the period of the 1st Century BC - early 1st century AD and devolved into the Principate. When the Empire found itself unable to deal with the decline in revenues, foreign invasions, and the enervation of the people (Which paved the way for the former two), it was totally reformed under Diocletian, who became the first true emperor. Gone were even the trappings of the old Republican government, which had at least had some functions during much of the Principate. The ruling court of Rome would henceforth be run in the manner of that of an eastern despot.

Diocletian enacted a series of reforms, making the empire far more restrictive than it had ever been. Prices were fixed, the people were taxed to the nth degree , the bureaucracy soared in size and power, persecutions of Christians began again, and the people were required to assume the occupations of their parents.

-Nothing was outside the reach of the civil arm.

A florist in Washington State is being sued by the State, not for actually discriminating against gay customers, but for refusing to participate in an event of theirs that goes against the owner's beliefs; the florist simply refused to fill an order for flowers for a gay wedding. For this the State is seeking and injunction to force the vendor to abandon any principles if she wants to continue being a florist.

As noted in the above paragraph, if vendors refuse to sell to gays simply due to the customer's sexual practices, then they clearly would be in violation of the law. What Washington State wants is to expand the scope of laws protecting people from discrimination to force anyone who operates a business to engage in actions that may be completely contrary to one's principles.

Nazism is not illegal in the US. If a member of a neo-Nazi Party walks into a store owned by a Jewish person, or anyone else for that matter, and orders a product or service custom-made for Hitler's birthday, then the vendor should certainly be within his rights to refuse to fill that order. A vendor cannot refuse service simply because of someones affiliations, but the law cannot rightly be held to force a vendor to participate in an event for that organization.

Want something less severe? OK, how about a vendor that refuses to make t-shirts sponsoring a Harbor Seal hunt? The vendor would not be able to refuse to make t-shirts with other messages/logos for a customer solely due to his grisly occupation, but the law again cannot be used to force someone to take actions that would effectively make one complicit in the smashing of little seal heads.

This is how the State crushes the liberties of the people- making you powerless to stand up in any way for your principles. Tying this method of control to one's occupation is the most oppressive means of doing so.

The Left needs to turn the people into slaves who have no say whatsoever in what they say, learn, or produce. As I noted in previous posts, measures such as this one are only the beginning. Soon, speaking publicly against fake marriages will be illegal. Next, Churches will be penalized for refusing to perform fake weddings. They will either lose their tax-exempt status or their authority to officiate recognized weddings altogether. If this happens, a married couple will, after a church wedding, have to schlep down to town hall to have a civil ceremony if they want their marriage recognized by the state.

One must keep in mind that governments do not have creative powers. They cannot bring rights into existence. The State is given the power to regulate and protect institutions such as marriage to prevent abuses. These would include underage brides, one spouse who is still legally married to another, etc.

Marriage existed long before any government; therefore a government cannot, despite any legislative hoop-jumping, create the legality of a marriage that, by its very nature, cannot exist. Any law that presents itself as such is nothing more than play-acting by the State.

I once believed that the primary reason for using statutory powers to pretend that same-sex marriages exist was to destroy the family While I still believe that this is the primary purpose for some, I have come to think that others have a more insidious purpose for this.

-The purpose is to establish full governmental control of society and all of its people.

Think about it. If the State can force people to act as if a government can bring the impossible into existence, and force everyone to go along with it, then what is it incapable of doing or forcing? If a society accepts that the State can conjure up institutions by going through the motions of making laws, what can stop them from removing rights or creating others that infringe on the Liberties of the rest of the people?
