Defense Dept. - Colonial Patriots Were Extremists

As the force projection of the United States Navy is being staged for possible move against the government of Syria to effect the end of Christianity in that nation, word comes from our own Department of Defense that there were extremists in our own history where we least expected them:

Our history is now being rewritten not only by Leftists in academia, but also by those who set policy for our armed forces.

U.S. Department of Defense education materials obtained by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, warn of “extremists” that will “talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.” Judicial Watch and other conservative media outlets claim the disclosure indicates the department is teaching that conservative views are “extremist” in nature.

The guide is reportedly authored by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, a Defense Department-funded diversity training center. Further, the documents cite the left-leaning Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) when identifying “hate groups.”

• Under a section labeled “Extremist Ideologies” the document states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

"D. Extremist Ideologies
1. Introduction
• As noted, an ideology is a set of political beliefs about the nature of people and
society. People who are committed to an ideology seek not only to persuade but to
recruit others to their belief. In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist
ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British
rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just
two examples....."

Let's be clear. Extremists are bad guys. Colonists who sought to separate their colonies from the Crown were extremists. Ergo, our patriots who struggled against Great Britain were extremists and therefore bad guys.

No matter how one tries to explain this one away, we can't ignore what it says. The people who founded our nation were extremists. If we want to follow this to its logical conclusion, we would have to drop the Constitution and officially apply for Commonwealth status with the UK.

We have just witnessed what has got to be far and away most atrocious and evil example of the revisionism of our history. The people whose labors and sacrifices we once were taught to honor are now to be considered as people who should have been detested and stopped. 

The way the Defense Department would have it told to our troops - people who stand for Liberty and, most importantly since few then wanted full independence, their rights as Americans (at that time Englishmen) are extremists; the same people who should be reported to the authorities for investigation and possible arrest or armed action.

Not only do we have two distinct countries within what may someday become the former American Republic, our military commanders are fully on board with the Statists; so much so that they will cooperate with them in efforts to brainwash our troops to think of old and new patriots as people to be suppressed by force.
