As noted in the post below, Lebanese Christians are fearful of what is in store for their coreligionists in Syria. The Assad regime at least kept militant Islam under control. Once the Obama administration gets their way, Muslim Brotherhood-types will get right to work just as the did in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. The latter of course got so bad for Chaldean, Catholic, Nestorian, and Assyrian Christians that they fled to Syria. Soon that nation will also be a no-go zone for Christians.
If the US would let them immigrate here, I for one would welcome some cultural enrichment that actually enriches us culturally.
