American Teens Have No Empathy

The Steubenville gang rape case brings to mind a host of gut-wrenching realities that we have ignored for too long.

High school-age boys have largely devolved in to predators who function as a pack of jackals looking for helpless prey. Other boys are too afraid to step up and defend the victims. Mainstream media outlets speak of the legal consequences for the criminals in a manner that is clearly intended for us to have empathy for those who felt none for the victims; we are supposed to feel bad because their future chances of success have been hurt. Instead of being overwhelmed with a sense of failure as a parent, feeling disgusted at his son's actions, and having sorrow for the victim, one parent hugged his rapist son.

Our society has bought into the culture that the Left and other Godless have fed us. Girls are told that they will be happy being treated as sex objects or worse. Boys no longer are not afraid of being punished by their fathers, nor by the possible retribution that fathers, brothers, and cousins of the victim may seek. People are willing to entertain the argument that girls who get too drunk and refuse the help of their friends share a portion of the blame for being attacked.

No one is willing to admit that our society is collapsing around us.


For me, the most tragic part of the linked article concerns the actions of a male so-called friend of the victim who, maybe for fear of being ostracized by his peers or possibly sustaining a broken tooth from defending the girls, left her to the animals to be raped, digitally penetrated (Also sexual assault) urinated on, and God knows what else. It is he who, for me, exemplifies the depths to which we have sunk. I do not see any evidence that he even called the police  If the crime was occurring at that moment and the cops would not arrive in time, my high school junior son would never have given up until he either got her out of that hell hole or was beaten until he was unconscious. He was raised to be a sheepdog, have empathy for others, and to know that he cannot ignore his conscience. He also knows that I would be bursting with pride while taking him to the hospital to have any injuries treated. Men do not leave victims behind.

In my teen years, I too encountered drunk girls at high school parties. I took the honorable, and only, route and kept them safe.

We are not raising our boys to be men.

Equally heartbreaking is the fact that no one helped the alleged victim, despite the fact that her plight was obvious to many people at the party where she was publicly stripped naked, before being carried away to the house where she was then allegedly brutally assaulted. How could this happen? I believe American teens are in the grips of a psychological epidemic that has eroded much of their capacity to connect with genuine emotion and is, therefore, crushing their empathy.

Having watched tens of thousands of YouTube videos with bizarre scenarios unfolding, having Tweeted thousands of senseless missives of no real importance, having watched contrived “Reality TV” programs in which people are posers in false dramas about love or lust or revenge, having texted millions of times, rather than truly connecting and having lost their real faces to the fake life stories of Facebook, they look upon the actual events of their lives with no more actual investment and actual concern and actual courage than they would look upon a fictional character in a movie.

They are absent from their own lives and those of others. They are floating free in a virtual world where nothing really matters other than being cool observers of their own detached existence, occasionally alighting on one another’s bodies, in sexual embraces that remind them—for an orgasmic moment—that they are actually alive and actually human.

The psychological epidemic dissolves courage and compassion and is the most virulent and dangerous one our culture and the world has ever faced. It could ruin us.
What was once referred to as “the bystander effect”—a psychological phenomenon in which individuals in a crowd tend not to step forward to save a victim, is now an apt label for a large percentage of teens. They are bystanders in their own lives. They are bystanders to the lives of others. And just as they may stand by as a “friend” of theirs is brutally sexually assaulted, humiliated and degraded, they could stand by as forces of darkness gather to confront the American ideals of liberty and justice. Cyprus Stealing Citizen's Money in Bank Accounts

Added 3/18/13 - I realized this morning that in my haste I forgot to mention that the Cypriot lawmakers and their families would have, beyond a shadow of a doubt, withdrawn their money from their bank accounts before this savings-ravaging law was passed.

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes its laws.", makes a lot of sense even if he did not utter those words himself.
Western governments have been borrowing insane amounts of money. They borrow to pay for what was already borrowed as well as for new spending that they also cannot afford.

Cyprus' answer to this predicament?

Penalize the people who save money.

Depending on whether the Cypriot government finalizes the deal, which is still pending, this means that every depositor will have a portion of his money confiscated by the government when the banks reopen Tuesday morning.

“Accounts under 100,000 euros will have 6.75% of the funds seized. Accounts over 100,000 euros will have 9.9% seized,” Business Insider’s Henry Blodget explains.

After these funds are seized, the EU’s emergency lending facility and the International Monetary Fund, headed by Christine LaGarde, will drop €10 billion on keeping the banks in Cyprus running.

Unsurprisingly, after Cypriots learned of the surprise deal, many rushed to empty their bank accounts. However, according to various reports, ATMs have not been functioning properly and the government has made it impossible to transfer money outside of the country’s borders......"

Citizens of Western nations rightly fear their own leaders. It is they who are enslaving their own people. 

When people try their best to stash away some money, particularly in places in which allow the earning of some interest, and these funds are dipped into by the people who are supposed to protect their property, we can no longer deny that totalitarianism is the way of the future if nothing is done to put a stop to it.

Putting money in bank accounts is supposed to be a win-win deal. People earn interest, which should at least counter or offset any losses due to inflation, and the economy as a whole benefits as more money is available to lend out for business loans, mortgages, etc.

With all of the EU bailouts- Ireland, Italy, Greece, Portugal, etc., no one has had their own money stolen from their bank accounts.

The consequence of such criminal behavior is that people will hide their money is mattresses or jars in the backyard. Another option is that they will convert their money to holdings of (land) property, metals, or other speculative property that will be more difficult for their leaders to seize. Either way, they will find ways to ensure that their hard-earned money will no longer be stolen to appease the banks and their leaders who, no doubt by kickbacks and other means, pocket as much of the borrowed cash as possible.

If the people of Cyprus do not strike back, other EU nations will follow this path.

If that goes well enough for the banks and governments, the US will no doubt consider doing the same thing. Leftist economists have already called for the Obama administration to seize retirement accounts:

This is how the Left works - enslave the workers by debt and seizures of their property. The EU, far from being a true market-helping entity, is a powerful Socialist organization. The only difference is that the Western variant of Socialism utilizes and oligarchic element of private bankers, industrialists, and other plutocrats.

When the average Joe that is frugal, saves his money, pays taxes, and generally acts responsibly is robbed in no less a manner than if he was mugged on a dark street, it is time for the people to rise up in defiance.

I hope that the Cypriots fight back hard in this case. Put no money in the banks, grind the economy to halt, occupy government offices, close down the banks, or even consider the fact that the government must be fully changed by the people now without waiting for, elections - anything but accept this without resisting.

Dearth of Ammunition -They Made this happen

I am not a proponent of hoarding or possessing a massive amount of ammunition in one's house. I of course recommend to people that they have at least two or three boxes for each firearm one owns, but I was never drawn to the "prepper" (Old term - "survivalist") mindset.

In short, every citizen has the ethical obligation to the community to equip himself with a firearm and maybe a couple of days worth of ammunition. I would never, though, support any regulation or law that bans or penalizes an individual for possessing whatever amount that they see fit as everyone is in different situation. Homes in sparsely populated rural areas or near regions with a high violent crime rate, for example, would certainly need more than the average single-family home. Ultimately, it is the decision of the individual to determine how he spends his money and how many boxes are stored in his home.

Today, I experienced my first real taste of what the Left has caused to happen in the firearm and ammunition market. I secured the time of a certified trainer to conduct my pistol qualification for a retired officer firearms carry permit on this Monday. Although I had heard and read several reports of stores literally being cleaned out of firearms and ammunition not commonly used for, say,  hunting and skeet shooting, I never imagined that I would be unable to purchase a measly two boxes of nine millimeter ammunition in order to be tested.

I tried no less than five local dealers, all of which had no ammunition of that type available. Only one had two boxes in stock, but these were of the type that are designed for defense use, much more expensive than ball-type ammunition and not a prudent choice to spend on hitting targets to prove that your eyes, hands,and proficiency have not diminished.

Here we are.

We have elected and appointed officials who, by their actions and words, have made it clear that they have every intention of outlawing or severely restricting the private ownership of firearms and the acquisition of the ammunition that is necessary if the former if it is going to be used for anything other than a paperweight.

Our nation was created with the basic understanding that the prohibition of privately owned guns would never be an issue, but we have people in seats of real power and influence who salivate at the thought of doing just that. The consequence of this is stores that can do little more than order ammunition and guns that never get past backorder status.

Between the massive ammunition purchases made by the Department Of Homeland Security and the panicked public, the average buyer is stuck.

Two inherently legal products have, by the words and actions of the Left, been rendered into precious commodities.

I can't even shoot what I do have at the range for fear of being unable to replace what I used.

People are in panic mode due to their fears that they will no longer be able to purchase these items. I don't blame them for feeling this way. The inhuman desires of those who subscribe to the  Leftist/Statist have made this situation possible. Think about it - we have reached a low point that has never been approached before. Sure, there have been times when certain items were in great demand, such as higher-capacity magazines at the time of the 1994 "assault weapons" ban, but nothing compares to what we have been experiencing since the slaughter in Sandy Hook and its political aftermath.

I shudder to think about how many regular people have been made to feel as if they have been backed up against a wall. There is no way that the ammunition has been getting bought up by preppers, no, this phenomena is the work of average Joes and Janes who have been made aware that totalitarians have a tremendous amount of power and influence in our nation and that they have every intention of using these.
They won't be content with leaving the US to live in a nation in which the people are defenceless and at the mercy of the army and police. They would not even be satisfied with the creation of gun-free states that provide life sentences for transporting a firearm into those states.

In short, as I have noted previously, being able to live in a Leftist and all-controlling state is not their goal. Their goal is ensuring that you do not get to live in a state that is not Leftist and all-controlling. 

They work tirelessly to abolish what are not only our Constitutional rights, but also the basic right of all people under the Natural Law:

-We have vicious Senators such as Diane "...Mr. and Mrs. America, turn 'em all in, I would have done it." Feinstein.

-We have Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsburg who has admitted to taking international law into account in cases of purely domestic concern. She has clearly implied that our Constitution is obsolete and that the US does not have an independent judiciary. What she means by independent is the authority of judges to make laws, which our court is of course not supposed to do but has actually assumed for itself so I have no idea what her complaint is.

-Justice Sotomayor, who explicitly states that judges make policy then pretended, in a mocking manner, to take that statement back, joined with Bader-Ginsburg with the following dissent:

All this time we could have been scouring Latin American for all of their Wise Latinas. Why, the place must be chock full of these types, and it certainly shows in their systems of government and society. How could we have not seen what was right under our noses? Latin America could be doing the world a great favor by enlisting volunteer brigades of Wise Latinas to go to every nation of the world to fix things.
(For the record, the preceding was written only to draw attention to Sotomayor's arrogance and utter lack of respect for those who previously sat in her place. Her remark was racist and belittling of the accomplishments of many former Justices)

Note that if one more conservative Justice dies or retires, Obama will appoint another anti-gun Justice.    District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago will be overturned.

-The current occupant of the White House is reported by a very reputable person as stating that he does not believe that people should be allowed to own guns.

There are of course many more, but the point is that we are under siege, and all that people are doing is hoarding items rather than organizing to put a stop to this madness. I assert again that our only hope is to create a restored American Republic out of the few states Left who would not elect or appoint people such as the above to positions of power.

German Homeschoolers To Be Deported From US

While we look to grant illegal immigrants the right to remain in the US, the totalitarian Obama administration is  supporting the forceful return of a German family of homeschoolers.

German law prohibits home schooling. The parents, after enduring a tremendous amount of intimidation, including the reported taking of their children to school by the Polizei, successfully applied for asylum in the US.

The Department of Homeland Security, though, is seeking to have that ruling overturned.

Bu its actions, the Obama administration is making its position on homeschooling clear:

The Obama administration is basically saying there is no right to home school anywhere,” Michael Farris, founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association (which is representing the Romeike family) told Fox News. “It’s an utter repudiation of parental liberty and religious liberty.”

If the Romeike's are sent back to the Fatherland, their children will be either taken and sent to public school or the parents will imprisoned or otherwise  be left with no recourse to prevent this from happening.

The court date is April 23rd. I will post updates on this as that date approaches.

This is an outrage not only for this family, but for any family that does not want their kids to be subjected to the Leftist brainwashing that regularly occurs in Western public schools of our era. We have to support the family for their own plight and for the implications of such a decision for all of us.

Allen West - Progressives Fear Black Conservatives

Colorado U. Hosts White Privilege Conference

White students are being trained to hate everything about themselves, other whites, the society that bred them, and the history and civilization that gave birth to this country.

I have noted on previous posts (Two are below) that colleges in the US have been more than largely taken over by radical Leftists, particularly of the brand that specifically detests Western Civilization. Students are either forced to take, or are given handouts of college credits for attending, classes in "Whiteness' or "White Privilege  studies. These are geared primarily towards turning American whites into Sonderkomanndos who are tasked with dismantling everything that concerns our cultural and historical legacy.

A white never earns his or her credibility, education, job, or anything else; all of these are the fruits of an unfair system that bestows privileges solely on account of one's birth.

The United States is not a Western nation, except when it is, at which point it is evil because precisely due to the fact that it is a Western nation.

Continuing to ignore what is going on will have one result- The electorate of the US will tilt irrevocably towards the anti-US and Leftist camp. National elections will no longer even be a contest, for too many voters will have been brainwashed to hate themselves and be overwhelmed by "white guilt". This guilt will be manifested in the election of more candidates who will assuage the self-hatred by having them accept increasing degrees of marginalization, more control, and crushing taxation to pay for more reeducation.

A culture that has protected the rights of free speech/press, self-defense, religion, property, trial by jury, the individual, true representative government, and changed to protect women and the oppressed (And even prior to this women enjoyed far better conditions than elsewhere) is the bad culture. World cultures such as those of Islamic societies and China that still deny or severely restrict these rights are the good ones.

White privilege is a concept similar to that of Obama's old favorite "Critical Race Theory". Along with college courses in "Whiteness Studies", these ideas are advanced with the intention of keeping the fires of racism alive in our minds. The ad is the brainchild of Tim Wise, a longtime "anti-White" white person. Along with other (this time) volunteer modern-day Sonderkommandos wearing inscribed anti-white messages on their faces while speaking about how wrongfully privileged whites are, Wise intends both to frighten whites into perpetual subservience and silence and to whip non-whites into an anti-white frenzy of jealousy and hatred. The white volunteers who shamelessly attack other whites make this ad all the more appalling.

We have been faced with this agenda for a long time, but the campaign has been strongly stepped up of late. I personally believe that the new offensive is occurring now due to the difficulties that the Obama campaign is experiencing.

In a typical "Year Zero" mentality, nothing honorable or good for humanity that was accomplished by whites is mentioned or allowed into the conversation. The ban on the global slave trade (Although blacks are still enslaved in more than one region in Africa), an horrific civil war fought almost entirely about slavery (Sorry, but the historical evidence is too strong to deny that one), the fact that mainly white Church bodies were almost the only groups condemning slavery, the desegregation of the American South, the acceptance of vast amounts of refugees from third-world nations, or any other virtuous action can not be entered into the debate.

One's work ethic, the willingness to postpone life decisions such as marriage and children, frugality in spending in order to at some point accumulate any property, or moral compass can not be cited in defense of what you have or are working to have. You have (or will obtain) what you have exclusively by virtue of your aristocratic white birth, and nothing else.

We must fight back with the truth, and in a determined fashion. I for one worked too hard, at too many backbreaking jobs, and put off too many purchases to be fooled into feeling guilty.

The situation reported in The Blaze is exactly what we knew would occur. It happened back in December  A family member requests and receives mental health treatment. Despite her claims to the contrary, the staff report that she may be a suicide risk. Cops are sent to her home. The husband is asked to show the cops where the guns are. The guns are confiscated. At least in California (So far not on an national level), when it comes to second amendment rights, there is no effective privacy in the case of mental health treatment.

"The prohibited person can’t have access to a firearm” regardless of who the registered owner is, Michelle Gregory, a spokeswoman for the attorney general’s office, told to Bloomberg News.

According to the Los Angeles Times last week, budget cuts created a backlog of 19,000 people in the state with more than 40,000 guns that they are no longer legally allowed to own.

Such a Prohibited Armed Persons File is created through the Office of the Attorney General. When a person is entered into the Automated Criminal History System, the Consolidated Firearms Information System is also checked to see if they might have possession of a gun. The same check is conducted for those involuntarily admitted into the hospital for mental illness as well."
What must be remembered above all is that the cops that were assigned to this detail are/were not in possession of a search warrant. The homeowner is not legally required to even allow them in, let alone direct them to the location(s) of his personally owned firearms.

I don't blame the husband/homeowner for this; when a family member is away for any medical treatment, things are unsettled in the household. Loved ones are concerned for the patient's well being and they are not  thinking far enough ahead to plan their response to such an intrusion.

Now. however, that we are aware of the reality, there is time to think.

Here are some thoughts:

Before the cops arrive, one can ask a trusted friend or family member (One who is legally allowed to won firearms) who does not reside with you, to take temporary possession of the firearms. Note that in a state such as New Jersey, where handguns are strictly regulated and registered, this option may be restricted to rifles and shotguns.

In the event that this is not possible or if the police arrive earlier than expected, I would not allow them entry. Depending on the specifics of the laws of individual states (Unless the national government enacts its own version - but at this point you must research the laws of your own state), the police may elect to remain in place outside the home while they have a on-call judge contacted. The next step may either be the issuance of a warrant (In which case they must be allowed in), a possible charge of (In NJ) Obstructing Administration of Law), or a summons to appear before a judge the following morning to answer for your actions. It is then time to get legal counsel.

Neither of these are of course the "A" answer, but the state, the courts, and the police do need to be made aware that people are not going to roll over and submit without any semblance of protest. The vast majority of cops, despite the high-level jerks who get paraded in front of microphones to spew their anti-gun claims, are not in favor of grabbing personally owned firearms. I am am retired officer in NJ and know for a fact that even in our draconian state the police are not calling for this. The myth that cops as a whole are anti-gun is one of the biggest hoaxes ever sold to the American people. It is important to understand the vast majority of them certainly do not relish being sent on such missions of intrusion. When they respectfully tell a homeowner that they are only doing their job, it would be a good thing for them to hear that the homeowner too has a job; the protection of his rights.

Laws such as that of California will not be changed until they are challenged. Criminals will not have registered firearms, nor will they allow the police inside their homes and turn over their weapons to them voluntarily. Their family members will no doubt deny that their homes contain firearms. Laws such as these serve only to take firearms away from those who do not commit crimes.

Comedian - Liberals Ignore Black/Hispanic Murders

The Left has, since Democrats were forced to give up segregation, had to find ways to keep certain groups in permanent victim status in order to present themselves as their protectors.

Welfare was created and the result has been generations of people who know nothing other than living for free; all that is asked in return is a trip to the polls to keep their oppressors in office.

The family has been wrecked. Unbelievable numbers of children grow up without fathers, In response to this, young women and girls are, in a modern version of eugenics, encouraged to abort their babies instead of insisting on being treated as human beings rather than young sex objects.

All students, but particularly Blacks and Hispanics, are not taught to read. In Florida, the minimum percentage of literate blacks students was lowered last year so that it would be easier to meet the goal.

The Left seems to have no desire to address the enormous problem of violence in the Black and Hispanic communities. They would rather keep having them kill each other to help keep the murder rate high. That way, when a mass shooting does occur in a mostly white area, the former data can be added to the debate when the call to disarm law-abiding people begins again. Last year, Rahm Emmanuel was reported to have indicated that, if they insist on continuing shooting the place up, the gangs in Chicago should at least  refrain from shooting kids.

When the Huffington Post tried to crucify comedian Adam Carolla for comments (Not initiated by Carolla) that he had made made previously about problems in the Black and Hispanic communities, Liberals got in return more than they expected:

Carolla, who has harshly criticized the “slanted to the left” media before, said Newsom “is the system” and knows what it takes to fix it but won’t because he’s a “f–king coward.”

“Guys like Huffington Post — you guys f–king line up behind these people and let me tell you something, you guys all have blood on your hands, because the problem could be fixed. It’s a problem, and it’s a problem that involves bodies. People die every year,” Carolla said.

He continued, “There’s people getting shot. There’s brown people shooting other brown people on the streets of Chicago every f–king day of the week. And you guys sit there silently. If it was a Sandy Hook situation or anything else, you’d be all up in arms. But you can’t say a word, so you sit there with your f–king coward hands over your f–king little cowardly soup coolers.”

CSCOPE Remedy? For Some, Homeschooling

I have been a father for well over twenty years. I have always held homeschooling to be an option. The reasons that I did not give it a shot, other than the fact that I am very bad at math, were probably the same for many parents; the school environment is a great way to meet friends, learn to function without family members in public settings, gave access to music and art classes without the logistical nightmare of doing that in homes, and enjoy classes like physical education.

What bothered me about public schools, at least prior to the onslaught of most radical anti-western propaganda, was the arrival of ethical crimes such as the Dolch (Word-recognition system that does not teach reading at all*), teaching math by using fingers to count (I had thought that this went out in the neolithic era) , and the realization that students were purposefully being deprived of any history that included ancient Greece and Rome, the development of the English governing system, the reasons for the American War of Independence, and of course anything that included the contributions of Jewish and Christian thought.

Kids that are home schooled also usually lose out on after-school activities such as athletics. While this is not big deal for recreation-age children, this is certainly a major factor once they reach high school age. From what I gleaned from a quick search, only ten states allow home schooled kids to participate in after-school programs. This is indeed unfortunate. State athletic boards are concerned that home schooling can be a means for kids who are not performing well in academics to get to 'back' into the system and some home schooling parents rightly fear more intrusion masked as oversight by the state.

I am torn on the issue. I strongly believe that the best option is to take back our educational system by first separating states that can be saved by their voting patterns. Those in conservative states that want the Progressive/Leftist version of history, along with the designed-to-fail Dolch system and the "newer" new math, can leave and go to the failing states. Those who like I am are fed up with the Left will have to leave my home state if they want to join the restored republic. A restored republic will have to have a Constitution that not only has the safeguards of out current version, but will also need to have new safeguards built in to prevent the systematic destruction that ours has suffered since Woodrow Wilson, FDR, et al.

When Rick Perry scoffed at the claim that Texas will soon become "purple" then a "blue" state, I wondered if he was denying the obvious or if he was really that dense.

The Left desperately  wants the electoral votes* of the Lone Star State, and they are working at a feverish pace to get the job done.

*Leftists decry the assignment of the electoral votes as it was designed to offset the natural electoral power of the most populous states. Today the highly-urbanized states are almost in a position to carry a national election by themselves. While Leftists hate the fact that the electoral college exists, they are fully aware of how it works, and they have every intention of getting Texas under their control. Once they are successful they will surely change their tune and extol the virtues of the electoral college.

As I have noted in previous posts, the Left wants a classless society of people who have no knowledge or interest of their heritage. Only by creating such a society can they move to eliminate national sovereignty and begin a full-blown despotism of socialist committees.

One method is to dilute the electorate by importing so many people from markedly different cultures that assimilation or integration into the culture of the host nation is impossible.

Working in parallel with the former is the just as effective but far more insidious technique of excising all understanding of a people's or nation's sense of identity. Primary school textbooks are doctored to contain  Leftist views of history, admirable people and events from a nation's past are left out, and the students grow up knowing next to nothing about how their society and nation came to be. Products of this Leftist kulturkampf leave high schools in a sponge-like state, ready for the heavy doses of anti-western propaganda's of college.

It is working. High school seniors are already telling their parents that they would get rid of imperialist/colonialist  holidays such as Thanksgiving if they could. Not only have I read numerous accounts of similar incidents, but I personally know of this occurring in New Jersey. These young people are or will soon be of voting age, and they will likely be no friends of American society and virtue. Having been fed a steady diet of anti-western/American lessons, they will utter no peep of protest when their children are subjected to the same brainwashing.

The top links are recent reports of events in Texas schools. The first concerns a Spanish class in which the teacher apparently felt that Spanish literature offered nothing of value, so the students were required to recite the Mexican national anthem and pledge of allegiance. Cervantes and others can be conveniently  ignored.

The second reports on students that were given a more interesting assignment:.

Texas state Sen. Dan Patrick, chairman of the Senate Education Committee, has launched an investigation into the incident. He told Fox News he was disturbed after seeing a photograph of female students wearing burqas and learning that students were reportedly taught that the cause for Egypt’s turmoil is democracy, not the Muslim Brotherhood, based on an article by the Washington Post."

"A curriculum system used across the state of Texas reportedly includes a lesson plan for 6th graders instructing students to create a flag for a “new socialist nation” using “symbolism to represent aspects of socialism/communism.”

The following was taken from the CSCOPE curriculum lesson plan: “Notice socialist/communist nations use symbolism on their flags representing various aspects of their economic system. Imagine a new socialist nation is creating a flag and you have been put in charge of creating a flag. Use symbolism to represent aspects of socialism/communism on your flag. What kind of symbolism/colors would you use?' "

I hope that everyone sees what is going on. If the States do not take action now, they will, likely within 10-20 years, all fall to swing-state or blue-state status. The Left will not only have won handily, but those who advocate American principles and virtue will at that point be in no position to even break off from and form a new and restored American republic. The youth are being trained to detest or ignore all of the people, their actions, and events that shaped the very nation that bred them. If the schools can be taken back immediately   then we have a chance to avert catastrophe, but given the political climate, that will be an uphill battle.

In The Spirit of Laws, by Charles de Secondat, Baron de Montesquieu*, the author repeatedly stresses that the primary means by which a republic can survive is if the people have a love of their country. Without this, the republic will fail. 

*Along with Locke, Montesquieu was a source of political though on whom the Founders greatly relied. His work had tremendous influence in the drafting of our Constitution, especially with the actual separation of powers of our government, an attribute that has sadly become ineffective.

No system of government lasts forever. We currently live under the longest-lasting Constitution in the world. That is a major achievement and a credit to those who crafted it and later defended it when our nation was threatened with collapse. We cannot, however, continue to cling to it if it is no longer what it was intended to be. I would rather lay it to rest honorably than live with it as a facade of a government animated by Leftist thought. 

We still, barely, have the power to create a restored American republic comprised of the states that are not already lost. Our children deserve to learn about our history in a manner than makes them proud of our nation.

If we do not act, and soon, all will be lost.

“I don’t think that what happened yesterday is helpful to the American people,” Sen. McCain said after reading aloud a Wall Street Journal editorial that characterizes Sen. Paul’s concerns as “ridiculous.”...........

The old guard/establishment wing of the Republican party exemplifies why the people stay away from national elections. Not content with having engaged in a wholesale abandonment of American principles of government (And any preservation of American culture), the has-beens (or maybe never-was'es) have refused to support the young and virile defenders of our Republic.

This is the opposite of, for example, a Major League Baseball team. There, the old veterans deserve to be admired by the rookies who grew up watching their heroes on TV and seeing them at the ballparks. The new guys know what the vets have accomplished, want to learn from them how to play better and to win, and have every reason to accept their leadership. One almost never hears of a rookie in the MLB who scoffs at the old guys; they revere the men. They want to hear them recount their experiences and exploits for their teams and the game as a whole. In short, the rookies know that the vets still want to play the game the right way and that they have the same goal - for their team to win.

In turn, the veterans, knowing that they too were once new guys, full of piss and vinegar and eager to do their part, welcome the new blood and recognize that new guys can contribute in ways in which age 30-plus players cannot. They play harder, miss less games, throw harder, have better range in the field and are faster with the bat and on the bases. The new guys play the game like they did when they were twelve years old back in Little League, with a fire in their bellies than cannot be extinguished. The vets respect that determination and intensity and seek to cultivate and encourage rather than suppress or mock these. They look at the news guys, are reminded how motivated they were in their youth, and are thankful for the presence of the hard-chargers. When the team wins a nail-biter in the last inning, the youthful enthusiasm of the rookies rubs off on the veterans, and the whole team benefits.

Rand Paul made a brave, exhausting, and impassioned move. For that he is disparaged by the men who should be commending him for doing what they no longer have the drive, courage, and/or ability to do. I cannot fathom how the entrenched elite of the party were not inspired by his actions, did not feel proud of him, and were not sobered by the implicit reminder of their own inaction  They should have been slapping Paul on the back, telling him how much they respect his efforts, and assuring him that he has their support. 

From what I gathered, they weren't even there for most of the filibuster.

I personally do not believe that the Republican Part can be salvaged but if I am wrong, the future is with guys like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio. The new will have no choice but to brush the doddering, cowed, and lazy old guard of the GOP aside and take their places as the leaders in the restoration of American government and virtues.

10 Year-old Athlete Too Fat, Says Mass. Schools

Things like this get to me. When a state that saw much of the pre-war protests against Parliament and bore the brunt of the earliest fighting for our independence engages in bizarre governmental intrusions, the handwriting on the wall becomes ever more clear.

"The state of Massachusetts thinks 10-year-old Cameron Watson is fat, and they sent a letter to his family letting them know.

The multi-sport athlete and wrestling champion is roughly 94 pounds, but his school said in a letter that based on his BMI, the child is overweight.

“I wrestle, play football, baseball, I ride bikes, play basketball, baseball, MMA,” Cameron objected. “I know I’m not obese so I don’t really care about the letter…I just crumpled it up.”........

The system of arbitrarily using height/weight charts or Body Mass Indicator standards is an example of how the state wants to neatly define everyone while ignoring anything unique about an individual. These systems can only be used to get a tentative assessment, not to determine conclusively whether or not a person needs to lose weight.

They often fare very poorly when -you guessed it, boys and men are measured. When a male has significantly more muscle mass than the average guy of his age and height, even BMI cannot be used as a sole determining tool.

Males have been getting beaten in the military up for being muscular or naturally heavily-built  for over twenty-five years. When I was in the Marine Corps from 1985-1989, I watched one poor sap after another either get put on weight control or have to jump through flaming hoops to get company commanders to write letters on their behalf. These guys were not fat; they were the same guys who could carry the machine gun, extra ammunition, full personal equipment (including backpack), and everything else that may be needed, such as a tripod. The same guys could march at a fast pace for mile after mile and still run with the same load when needed. I was glad to have them on my side. They could certainly add my frame to their load of I ever got hurt.

It is far worse when a kid gets targeted by the all-powerful system of control. You have to see the photos of the kid in the article in the link at top. The top photo shows the face of a kid that no one in their right mind would think is obese. The bottom photo shows him in a wresting singlet; again, this boy strong and athletic.

Any outward manifestations of manliness, be it acts of protection, virtue, or physical strength, must now be labeled as aberrant.

This is something that will likely haunt us through works such as Obamacare and whatever else is coming down the pike. People will be saddled with notes about being chronically overweight  in their medical files. These notes will count against them when they apply to military programs or, upon getting getting older, when the death panels go to work deciding who gets treatment and who does not.

The Leftist War on British People

To create a classless society, the Left needs to excise any factors that may cause someone to be aware of his identity or heritage. Part of this requires that the people of Britain be subjected to an ongoing campaign of purposefully misrepresented genetic data with pre-planned conclusions. These tell us, in a nutshell, that there was never any such thing as a significant  Anglo-Saxon presence on the island and that the Irish, Welsh/Cornish, and Scots are not descendants of migrants but merely of the earliest indigenous inhabitants of that region*.

* A more detailed refutation of these points will be posted soon.

The parallel plan is to marginalize native Britons of all types of descent but making them a minority in their own nation. Paul Weston of the British Freedom Party cites examples by which he firstly exposes the hypocrisy of the Left in asserting that every people in the entire world, except Western Europeans, have the right to live as an ethnic/cultural majority in their own nation. Once that is completed, Mr. Weston, by putting the Leftist into a corner, forces him to admit what his true intentions are -the liquidation and/or subjugation of the people of Britain.

Do you agree this is direct contravention of the UN’s Definition of Genocide; in direct contravention of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples; and in direct contravention of any real world definition of decency and morality?”

The leftist will reply there is no such thing as the Indigenous British. Britain is an immigrant nation anyway, and is all the better for it. He tells me the world is One World and all are welcome. To resist this is racist, they say.

My final question is this: “So, you deny the existence of the English/Scottish/Welsh/Irish as legally and morally recognised races; you deny them their right to a nationality and a culture; you deny them their right to remain as an ethnic majority in the land of their birth, and you deny them the right to their homeland?”

By this stage, the leftist is so furious that I have forced him into a corner, and so furious that I have questioned his morality (which he feels he possesses but I do not) that he then injudiciously replies: “No, you have no rights to any of these things because of your historical actions, and you’re now getting everything you f******g well deserve.”........"

The Left has no delusions about their intentions. All of their praise of multiculturalism is just a veil for their campaign to eliminate Western Culture.

Russia Criticizes Aid to Syrian Rebels

Russia seems to be the only nation that has any understanding of the purposefully made catastrophe that the Western Powers are fostering in Syria. Iraq, Libya, Egypt, and Tunisia are now bereft of the autocratic regimes that at least kept a lid on the violence-hungry Islamists who shockingly follow the tenets of their religion. Western leaders, including the former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, have called for the ouster of one of the last somewhat stable and non-Islamist governments on the region.

"Russia, meanwhile, sharply criticized a decision by Western powers to boost their support for Syrian opposition forces trying to topple President Bashar Assad, saying the promised assistance would only intensify the nearly 2-year-old conflict.....

In Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said Friday the moves announced in Rome "in spirit and in letter directly encourage extremists to seize power by force, despite the inevitable sufferings of ordinary Syrians that [it or this] entails."

Meanwhile, the US is bent on setting up another Muslim state in which Christians will have, instead of a small amount of protection, no protection at all.

In a bid to boost the opposition, the Obama administration pledged Thursday at a conference in Rome it will provide non-lethal aid directly to Syrian rebels, while also announcing an additional $60 million in assistance to Syria's political opposition.

We have to furlough longtime government employees and make other cuts for sequestration, but money is no object when it comes to running Christian out of the region in which that religion was born.

Rapes, forced marriages following rapes, kidnappings, shootings and bombings, acid attacks, and people run out of town are just a few examples of what's in store for the Christians that have not yet fled the country.

I always knew in my hear that we need a strong nation that has a majority Christian population and is not afraid to consider itself as having a Christian character and culture. I fear that the nations of Western Europe are too much like milksops right now, and the US is too busy essentially encouraging these Islamist groups to take control of nations that were formerly ruled by autocrats that kept some sort of lid on this.

Do to my concerns that the nation that I had in mind seems to be willing to allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons, I refrained from mentioning what I knew in my heart to be be our only hope.

Russia must step in.

Although her record is inconsistent on this issue, she has historically been the only nation that has made any effort to assist Christians in Muslim-ruled nations. Russia has had decent relations with the Assad regimes. The Christians of the Near and Middle East are mostly Orthodox (with some Catholics). If Great Britain (Along with France) had not started the Crimean War to help the Ottomans and thus keep Russia from controlling the Black Sea, Constantinople and much of modern Turkey may have very well have been liberated. Once that occurred, there is do disputing that, even if other Christians were not liberated, the knowledge that a great power was close enjoy to assist their brethren would be cause for Muslims to think twice about committing acts of violence. In the latter days of the Ottoman Empire Russia pressed for being recognized as having sovereignty over the Christians under Islamic rule.


Personally, I could not care less if Russia had so much influence in a region close to the sources of much of our oil supply. The Russians aren't dummies, and they have no reason to shut down shipments that would be headed our way. It would also be nice to know we would not have to be virtually the only appreciable naval presence in the region.


Russia is close enough geographically to send and maintain sufficient troops and equipment for such a campaign. She is not destitute financially. Her people are not milquetoasts like many of the US and Western Europe; I don't see many Cindy Sheehans among them. Russian soldiers are as manly as ours and they routinely go long periods without the comforts that many US military personnel enjoy.


It is time that Russia fixes the mess created by GW Bush and perfected by Obama. A move into Syria would be the first logical step. Russia has a naval base in the region, and Lebanon could be occupied at the same time. Once her position is consolidated, the message can be put out that no further acts of violence against Christians in the region will be tolerated. Call him a thug if you want but don't dismiss the man - if I heard such a warning from from Putin, I would not doubt that he was serious.


I would not doubt that such a bold move would result in throngs of foreign volunteers to assist Russia in her efforts. The UN, with its massive Muslim nation voting bloc, will go bananas, but who cares? Unless I misunderstand this, Russia can still exercise a Security Council veto.

A move such as this could possibly even reduce the likelihood that Israel and Iran will go to war in the near future.

In a post on August 18, 2012, I finally admitted to myself that neither America, Western Europe, nor any other nation(s) were going to left a finger to provide any amount of security to their coreligionists in the region in which Christianity began. I consequently dispensed with my concerns with Russia's apparent willingness to let Iran move forward with its nuclear program and called for the Third Rome to step in and take action in support of Christians in the Middle and Near East. I noted that Russia had already, in the days prior to the greed and jealousy-inspired Western European foolishness of the Crimean War, demanded that she be allowed to have sovereignty over all Christians in the regions then under Ottoman rule. A strong Russian presence would be a major deterrent to those who seek to treat Christians brutally, may have them think twice about attacking landlocked Armenia and her sister Republic of of Nagorno-Karabakh, and give Iran cause to back off from threatening Israel.


It is time that we admit to ourselves that the balance of power and somewhat static condition of the world as we have known to exist for decades is long gone. The Soviet Union and the US are no longer the players on the board in the region. The former is defunct, and its successor nation, no longer encumbered with the burden of advancing the pathetic ideology of Socialism (That's our problem now) not only deserves to, but has a degree of obligation, to play its part. During the Cold War, the great post-WWII powers a least had movements in that region that were somewhat nationalistic or political in nature and could provide or withdraw support to these as the situation dictated.


With the onset of an neo-Islam that is every bit what it was when it burst out of Arabia in the 7th century and more, it is time that it be confronted on the conditions that its adherents are forcing on us. The nature of Islam is to see overtures of peace as weakness. It can only be dealt with by rolling it back against itself until it stagnates, or better yet, collapses completely. The voting bloc of Islamic nations in the UN will howl with protest, but their barbaric system must be stripped of all power.


We need to accept that things need to change. Russia is still a major power, and an extension of her influence has the potential of making her an even greater one. If the arrival in that region of a nation that maintains a paternal attitude towards Christians can afford them some reasonable protection, and this leads to a further strengthening of the Russian state, I can find no argument that this could be a problem. Russia has no designs on conquering either Western Europe or China, and the US has far more in her favor in encouraging mutual business interests between the two nations. Russia is not a true Republic or a Democracy? So what? Russia did not have the benefit of developing free of foreign rule as did the nations of Western Europe. She only fully shook herself free from the rule of the Mongol Khanates when Western Europe had a firm foothold in the modern era. Until that point the Russian principalities were either tribute-paying vassals or frontier states dealing with the last of the Asiatic nomads.


Spain and Portugal too had the same frontier state problems in having to, in piecemeal fashion, reconquer their penisula from Islamic rule. Even with their postion, one that was much less geographically isolated from Western Europe than Russia, was not enough to preclude a period of struggle to create societies that were conducive to the sort of government that GW Bush insisted that Russia adopt immediately or face ostracism. The decades of stagnation that resulted from Soviet Marxism also created a situation from which it was much harder to extricate a society and establish a solid Republic than the one that Spain had bequeathed to it by Franco.


I for one would hold that a more assertive Russia that has a real mission, and a solid sense of identity that goes along with such, would be beneficial to the world scene.


The vicious Anjem Choudary recently, as have dozens of his coreligionists in other Western Europe nations, called for Muslims in the UK to keep having more babies in order to take over the country by demographics. With their declared intentions for Western Europe, and their current oppressive actions in the Middle and Near East, the prospect of an Islam that will tire of its designs of world conquest is basically nil.


We have to be open to major changes; Christians are being wiped out or forced out of the Middle and Near East and Western Culture is being threatened in manner not seen since the period from the first two centuries of Islamic conquest to the Ottoman siege of Vienna in 1683. The latter event was a mere one hundred years prior to the peace treaty that was signed by the representatives of the United Kingdom and the American Republic.


The global situation that we have come to assume to be relatively permanent is untenable.
