State of Our Society Medley

I will be away from the computer for a short while, so I thought that the best thing to do would be to leave a few snippets, along with the respective links, to chew on in the meantime:

Never concerned with her credibility, Melissa Harris-Perry claims that what started the problems in Detroit was a lack of sufficient government staffing and resources. I have heard the claim that the first thing that all societies need is a government (Which as usual ignores all historical evidence), but this one was a doozy.

Utah Air National Guard Technical Sergeant Layne Wilson's reprimand (A disciplinary action) will not be rescinded. His offense?

-He expressed his disapproval at the celebrations of fake marriages in the West Point Cadet Chapel*.

In France, the land of Liberté, égalité, and fraternité, journalists have been blacklisted for daring to question the New Order that has been forced upon the Fifth Republic and its People. One individual was charged criminally for noting that a poster that depicted only people that appear to be Muslims with the headline "We Are the Nation" was not an accurate portrayal of France.

Here's a tidbit on the Marxist Rules for Radicals author Saul Alinsky. Read their playbook and you will understand why it is they do as they do.
