And make no mistake, attention was paid to Beck’s speech, which touched on everything from the differences between the American Revolution and the French Revolution to the dangers posed by the television show “Glee.” He also, in a vintage Beck move, teared up while talking about a Hungarian consulate to Sweden who would write letters to the Nazis that placed Jewish citizens under Swedish protection, allowing them not to wear the yellow star. As are many of us, Glenn Beck is genuinely concerned about the direction in which we are heading. Few of us though are willing to admit that, by being nitpicky about the minutiae of one's religious beliefs, we are playing the game that the Left has set up for us. How can there be any doubt that they prefer that we be divided and consequently easily subdued?
As an example, the press loves to make hash about whether or not Evangelicals and Fundamentalists will consider voting for a Mormon presidential candidate.
Yes, each of us is certain that our particular beliefs are the most correct ones. This should in no way cause us to set up barriers against each other that weaken us when we try to exercise our political rights. We have to admit to ourselves that we have far more in common than that which separates us.
If we are to put a stop to the attacks that hit us from very angle, we are going to have to put aside the old-fashioned desire to write off others due to religious differences. Mormons may send the missionaries to your door, but they will not force their way in or insist that the beliefs of their Church be taught in our schools. Protestants (Like it or not, Evangelicals/Protestants, you are included here) are going to have to drop the whole anti-Papist junk that accompanied the first English immigrants to these shores and gained in popularity when the Germans and Irish started to show up. Guys, the Catholic Church is not the Whore of Babylon; it is far more Christ-centered that you could imagine. And forget once and for all any attitude problems with Jews - if we can't straighten that out then we are in trouble.
Please read the article linked at top and watch the video. You will find compelling arguments in favor of uniting politically. If we do not do so, we will be squashed one by one. Obama has already gone after the Catholic Church - which religious body is next? Will home-schooling parents be forced to enroll their kids in public schools? We can always argue our positions amongst each other when our nation's leadership is not at stake.

Obama Moves Towards Despotism
His campaign almost in a shambles, Obama has even decided to forgo the formalities of issuing Executive Orders to bypass Congressional authority in order to cobble together enough potential votes for November.
When the move to cease with deportations of those who were illegally brought to the US as young children first hit the news, I assumed that Obama had again resorted to the use of an Executive Order to enable this. It turns out that he did not such thing - he just told his (Our) Homeland Security Department to put a stop to it.
This is the move of a despot. When a Chief Executive decides that he is going to rule be decree, of which his recent move is an obvious example, that individual acts in a despotic manner. The modern usage of the term has connotations of a mean and bad guy, but the word itself is not restricted to that meaning. Despots can be nice guys or bad guys (They were also official titles in the Byzantine world), but the word implies that the person who occupies that spot has no need for any checks on his power - he can do what he wants when he wants.
Aside from the sick assumption that somehow the US government and its people are at fault for those who have harmed their children by illegally setting up residence in the US with their children in tow (Something that I certainly could not do in, say Mexico), Obama has made it clear that he will allow no law or other Constitutional requirement to interfere with his designs.

It is time for our elected officials to, if not explore the very real possibility of an impeachment for this and other violations made during his tenure, at least assert their authority to control that for which the Constitution gives them the power. Censure him by a vote, take him to court before the Supreme Court Justices, but do something.

We will not stand for this if he goes that far. We held a presidential election in the middle of our own Civil War, when horrific fighting was going on in our own nation. That election was a model of the durability of our government and of our people's respect for the law. Although I would not put it past Obama to try such a stunt, we will not let it happen.

Renewed Call to Again Make Hagia Sophia a Mosque

Raymond Ibrahim wrote in the above linked article that Muslims in Turkey are pushing harder with their demands that Hagia Sophia, possibly the greatest Christian Church that has ever been erected, be returned to Mosque duty. Hagia Sophia, the construction of which was commissioned by the Emperor Justinian during his reign in the sixth century, was reduced to Mosque status after the savage sack of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks is 1453. It remained a Mosque until the rule of Kemal Ataturk, who came to power after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. This collapse, though long in coming, was hastened due to Turkey's disastrous entry into WWI (This despite repeated British pleas for the Ottomans to remain neutral). Ataturk turned the Church into a museum.
The design of Hagia Sophia is a masterpiece of architectural engineering. Sitting in a major fault zone, one that has caused untold amounts of deaths and property damage thought the centuries, she has weathered the periodic shifting of tectonic plates many times while suffering relatively minor damage when compared to other buildings in the region. I remember watching a TV special in in which computer models of the Church were tested against simulated powerful earthquakes. When the tests were completed, the computer models were still standing.
"Thousands of devout Muslims prayed outside Turkey's historic Hagia Sophia museum on Saturday [May 23] to protest a 1934 law that bars religious services at the former church and mosque. Worshippers shouted, "Break the chains, let Hagia Sophia Mosque open," and "God is great" [the notorious "Allahu Akbar"] before kneeling in prayer as tourists looked on. Turkey's secular laws prevent Muslims and Christians from formal worship within the 6th-century monument, the world's greatest cathedral for almost a millennium before invading Ottomans converted it into a mosque in the 15th century.
According to Salih Turhan, a spokesman quoted by Reuters, "As the grandchildren of Mehmet the Conqueror, seeking the re-opening Hagia Sophia as a mosque is our legitimate right." ......
.....Turhan, whose position is echoed by many Turks, still manages to blame the West: "Keeping Hagia Sophia Mosque closed is an insult to our mostly Muslim population of 75 million. It symbolizes our ill-treatment by the West."
If merely keeping a historically Christian/Western building—that was stolen by Islamic jihad—as a neutral museum is seen as "ill-treatment by the West," on what basis can Muslims and non-Muslims ever "dialogue"?"

Not that the West did not have its chances; the nations of Western Europe did pretty much all that they could to ensure the survival of the Ottoman state. Far from the Muslim victimisation-type claims (the old story of Europe ganging up on the poor declining Sultanate), Europe's far-sighted rulers happily encouraged them to attack other Christian nations like France did with Austria during the 1683 siege of Vienna. The British even brought the French into the Crimean War because, well, we can't have the Russians gaining full control of the Black Sea or taking Constantinople, that would give them an unfair advantage in the "Great Game". Catherine the Great had high hopes for John Paul Jones when the naturalized American was given a Rear Admiral's command - "He will get to Constantinople". But Russian selfishness iand intrigue among top officers caused him to be withdrawn from the Black Sea.
And today, we see more of the results of the Islamist resurgence that has pushed the secular Turkish army commanders aside. Muslims tend to be quite gleeful about taking over Christian houses of worship. In this case, Erdogan's boys get to act in the manner of "Well, you know that it was a great shame that Kemal remove so much of Islamic culture from our country, especially taking away our crowning achievement of the Aya Sofia (Hagia Sophia) Mosque. We will right that wrong and reestablish our rightful place as leaders in the Muslim world"
This time I would be surprised if the icons and other representations that did survive through the years and may have been brought back to public view (Lots of plaster would have had to be removed) during the museum period are not going to removed completely. If, to Erdogan, the Mosques are their barracks, then he is more than likely planning to ensure that the greatest of Turkey's barracks is not defiled by all of that horrendous Byzantine art".

Graphic Sex Descriptions Given to Fifth Graders

The Left hammers away again at Western Culture, and the kids are the collateral damage.
"Parents in a small Washington State community are infuriated after their 11-year-old children were given graphic descriptions of oral and anal sex during a sex education class led by an elementary school principal."
" 'You take a man’s penis and you put it in your mouth – that’s what the girls do to the boys,” their daughter told the couple. “The boys spread the girls legs apart and put their mouths down on the vaginas.' "
So far, no disciplinary actions have been considered:
"School officials did not return calls seeking comment.
However, Superintendent Scott Fenter defended the principal’s action to local media and said that the lesson did not go too far.
“I think the principal handled it appropriately at the time; she only gave factual information, no demonstrations,” Fenter told NWCN.com. “Because in sixth grade they start becoming sexually aware and you’ve got to teach them ahead of time.' "

When asked by her parents what she was told in class, a 10 or 11 year-old girl recounted what her Principal told the class.
" 'You take a man’s penis and you put it in your mouth – that’s what the girls do to the boys,” their daughter told the couple. “The boys spread the girls legs apart and put their mouths down on the vaginas.' "
Since the facts speak for themselves, I will only add one comment to this. Aside from the horrifically sick content itself, the boys were told that they "spread the girl's legs apart". How does the principle pretend that the boys will not take that to mean that they are not supposed to be aggressors in such an act? Conversely, how are the girls to perceive this as anything but an implicit instruction to remain compliant when boys actually do move their legs apart?
How does a parent get a kid's innocence back after such a violation?

I can't leave out the possibility that this was demonic in nature. When a patently bad act is described as good or appropriate, and this happens a lot today, it is not unlikely that a certain personality is directly involved.

Nashville Police Sue to Curb Kurdish Gang Activities

A gang comprised of Kurds has gotten so far out of hand that the Nashville Tn. Metro Police haven taken the extraordinary approach of petitioning the courts to bar suspected gang members from meeting in specified public areas.
"Metro police on Tuesday filed a civil lawsuit to wrest control of an area in South Nashville from the clutches of the Kurdish Pride gang by banning members from congregating in a 1.47-mile “safety zone.”
The department is targeting 24 of what they call the “worst of the worst” members of the gang, hoping a judge will ban them from publicly gathering in a zone that encompasses part of an area known as Little Kurdistan and includes Paragon Mills and Providence Park. The injunction lawsuit is the fruit of a three-year effort to combat gangs for detectives to build their case and attorneys to try and bullet-proof it from legal challenges. The injunction is the first of its kind ever filed in Tennessee, but a tactic used successfully for years in other states like California.
“Our police department will not sit idly by when a street gang threatens the peace of our community,” said Metro Police Chief Steve Anderson at a news conference held in Paragon Mills, the site detectives say hosted Kurdish Pride gang meetings. “We want to give this park back to the citizens.”
Police say Kurdish Pride members were involved in at least one murder, multiple beatings and shootings, drug dealing, illegal weapons and vandalism. Incidents include the 2006 attempted murder of a Metro Parks Police officer and multiple graffiti messages threatening a Metro Police Gang Unit detective."
This has apparently been long in coming. While searching for some background for this case, I came across this article from 2007:

This has apparently been long in coming. While searching for some background for this case, I came across this article from 2007:

As part of their case against the four KPG members — Ako Nejad, 22, Aso Nejad, 21, Delsosh Ahmed, 22, and Nechirvan Yahya, 22 — the Davidson County District Attorney’s Office on Thursday filed with the criminal court hundreds of pages of documents outlining the state’s proof that the four men were involved in a failed hit on a rival drug dealer, as well as the shooting of Metro Parks Officer James Spray......"
When reading similar articles concerning this, the common exculpating theme kept popping up - The Kurds, having come from a war-torn region, having trouble assimilating to life in the US, and being threatened by others in their new home, must have felt that they no choicer but to form gangs for their own protection.

Holder Feeling the Pressure From Issa

Our disgrace of an Attorney General has made overtures to the effect that he may get off his high horse.
After months of stalling and stonewalling, Eric Holder indicated that he may be willing to release documents pertaining to the "Fast and Furious" gun walking program.
Well, the documents were only subpoenaed in October of 2011 and our Attorney General has been really busy since then.....
"However, Holder now says he is willing to work with Republican lawmakers in order to avoid the charges – or as he called it, the “impending constitutional crisis.”
During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked Holder for the DOJ’s (Department of Justice) stance on the recently leaked wiretap applications relating to Fast and Furious and whether his department was willing to provide additional documents. Surprisingly, the attorney general seemingly extended his hand to the GOP saying, he is prepared to make “compromises with regard to the documents that can be made available.”
“I want to make it very clear that I am offering – I myself – to sit down with the Speaker, the chairman, with you,[Bolding added] whoever, to try and work our way through this in an attempt to avoid a constitutional crisis, and come up with ways, creative ways, in which to make this material available. But I’ve got to have a willing partner. I’ve extended my hand, and I’m waiting to hear back,” Holder said in response to a question posed by Grassley."
"The response could mean that the continued pressure coming from Congressional investigators like Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is working. Issa recently argued that the wiretap applications, which he claims were leaked from a group of “furious whistleblowers,” indicate that senior DOJ officials were aware of the tactics being used in Fast and Furious well before Holder and his department claim."
This program is believed by many to have been designed with the intent to demonstrate that the Mexican Drug Cartels were obtaining many of their weapons from straw purchasers in the US, thus providing an argument for stricter gun control legislation in a nation that is not a Narco-State. Firearms dealers were in some cases apparently pressured by ATF Agents to make the sales despite their concerns about the intentions of some of the buyers. The firearms that were purchased were then allowed to "walk" across our southern border. One of these weapons was used in the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

Representative Darrell Issa has been absolutely heroic and steadfast in his determination to get Holder to come clean about what those in the upper echelons of the Justice Department (And possible the White House) knew about this operation. Issa had made it clear on more than one occasion that he prepared to move to have Holder charged with Contempt for failing to cooperate with Investigators.
Holder continued to refuse to cooperate and cited his "superior knowledge" of the situation.

Note that Holder is still actually falling quite short of full cooperation. If I were required by subpoena to turn over documents, would I be able to state that I was willing to come up with "creative ways" to produce the documents? Would I be able to make counter demands for "a willing partner"? The only thing that I can guess he meant was that only the three people that he mentioned above should be able to see them. When Holder indicates that he may be willing to allow only three people to have access to the documents, I have to think that these are potentially damning for lots of important people. Perhaps the AG is hoping that he can persuade the three that what they will read is too big to release in a public setting.

Molester Caught By Dad Beaten and Dies

If the facts turn out to be as they now appear, then this has to be one for the good guys.
"A father who said he saw a man molesting his 4-year-old daughter behind a barn in Lavaca County apparently beat the man to death Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The death occurred about 3:45 p.m. at a horse barn along County Road 302 near Shiner, about 127 miles west of Houston, said Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon.
Harmon said the victim, a 47-year-old Gonzales man, died at the scene. His name has not been released because his next of kin has not yet been notified of the death.
No arrests have been made in the case. Harmon said a grand jury will probably to determine what, if any charges, will be filed.
Harmon said the father and daughter were at their barn with several other people to groom and care for horses there. The victim [alleged bad guy] came with some of the other people, but was not well-known, if all, to the father and child.
The group later heard the girl screaming behind the barn, Harmon said. Her father ran to see what was wrong and said he saw the man allegedly sexually assaulting the child. While pulling the man away from the girl, he hit the man several times in the head, Harmon said.
The girl was taken to DeTar hospital in Victoria to be evaluated and to have tests done to determine if a sexual assault occurred. She was released later.
The Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to perform an autopsy on the victim to determine what caused his death."

In this case, not only was a four year-old girl being sexually assaulted by someone, but the Dad is reported to have caught him in the act.
We all have heard people state what they would do or what they would want to do if their child was assaulted, but nothing could compare to being there when it happens. If this is not an example of "seeing red", then the term does not apply to anything.
How can anyone find fault with the Father?
It was interesting, considering the legal and political climate, that the police did not choose to charge the father and to left that decision to a Grand Jury. For those who are not familiar with that process, a Grand Jury is not just a waypoint for to determine if there is enough evidence for a trial for someone who has already been charged. Prosecutors/District Attorneys can present the testimony of the police, witnesses and coroner/medical examiners to the Grand Jurors and and allow them to make their decision as to whether or not the subject should be tried.
Texas is not known to be a State that coddles bad guys, so the Father may have a decent chance of avoiding trial if it is determined that he told the truth.
Again, we are far from knowing all of the facts, but considering the rage that the Father would have experienced at the time, any blows that he delivered at that point would undoubtedly been of a far greater force than that which would occur in a fistfight. He must have broken bones in the alleged molester's head.
I for one believe that the rise in reports of such crimes has very little to do with a rise in reporting by victims. The concept of cultural relativity and all that follows such garbage must result in many more people abandoning any concern with hurting others or committing grave sins. Even the loss of respect in society means nothing any longer; not only are people unconcerned about their reputation, many of us are even willing to forgo anything that smacks of judging others.
The overt sexualizing of our society also contributes to this phenomena. We keep being told that any form of abstinence is not only an aberration, but that it is impossible and that one should just do what feels good. No activity is to be considered inherently wrong or disordered. If homosexual acts, spouse-swapping, or group sex, is to be given the tacit approval in our society, who is to tell a pig that he can't act out his sick desires with children?
Children and young women have born the brunt of this trend. It is a tall order to find clothing for young girls that are even slightly modest. Couple that with the Pop Culture that encourages 10 or 11 year-old girls to think of themselves as sexy and the animals will pretend that they have justification for their actions. Although I am the first one to insist that no victim, even if he or she dresses or acts immodestly, should face blame if attacked, the bad guys will certainly tell themselves that the victim "deserved it".
I hope that the poor four year-old girl is OK. Kids are so trusting at that age, especially those who are raised in safe households by loving families,. I can't count the times that little ones that I did not even know have walked up to me to ask a question, tell me something, or ask me to read a book to them.
If the justice systems of our States do not begin putting these offenders away for life, we will see more parents and other concerned individuals taking matters into their own hands. Real life sentences not only guarantee that known criminals will never leave prison, they also make others think twice about making any attempts. One of the main reasons that the State is in place is to provide an environment of Law and Order. If the State fails to do its duty, then the people will feel that they have no choice but to do the job.
If the facts of the case are what they appear to be now, I hope the Father does not face trial. In a world of sheep, sheepdogs, and wolves, the Father was the sheepdog and the wolf was killed. (Below)

"God Bless the USA" Pulled From NYC School

"A controversial Coney Island principal has pulled the plug on patriotism.
Her refusal to let students sing “God Bless the USA” at their graduation has sparked fireworks at a school filled with proud immigrants.
Greta Hawkins, principal of PS 90, the Edna Cohen School, won’t allow kindergartners to belt out the beloved Lee Greenwood ballad, also known as “Proud to be an American,” at their moving-up ceremony.
Five classes spent months learning the patriotic song, which skyrocketed in popularity after the 9/11 attacks and the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
It was to be the rousing finale of their musical show at the June 20 commencement. The kids, dressed up for their big day, would wave tiny American flags — which, as the lyrics proclaim, “still stand for freedom.”
But Hawkins marched in on a recent rehearsal and ordered a CD playing the anthem to be shut off, staffers said.
She told the teachers to drop the song from the program.
“We don’t want to offend other cultures,” they quoted her as explaining.
[Jessica] Scaperotti [Dept of Ed. Spokesperson] noted PS 90 kids recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing “America the Beautiful” each morning. Insiders say Hawkins tried to end that tradition a couple years ago but staff objected.
The principal, a Jehovah’s Witness, does not recite the pledge because her religion forbids followers to salute any nation’s flag. Staffers gripe she doesn’t stand in respect during the school-wide ritual.
The song uproar comes amid tensions. Hawkins has been called a tyrant and bully by some staffers.
The DOE reprimanded her in 2010 after teachers complained she called the school “racist” and declared: “I’m black. Your previous principal was white and Jewish. More of us are coming.”
Again we see the excising of our history in the public school system. Generations of Americans were raised with school curriculums that provided students with the knowledge of the sacrifices made by others that allowed us to remain as free as we have been up until now. Our children have been purposefully denied any real concept of what those who came before us have given up so that others could have a better future.
This particular case is a bit harder to nail down when we search for the intent behind it. While the most common cause of such acts is the Leftist agenda of creating blank slates in the minds of children, thereby making them unaware of who they are and thus more malleable and susceptible to Marxist thought, this Principal is a Jehovah’s Witness. Witnesses teach, as a central point of their doctrine, the obligation of the believer to refuse to profess any loyalty or allegiance to any nation. Naturally, Witnesses are perfectly willing to reap the fruits of everyone else’s work and sacrifices that contribute to the same free countries in which they live.
This is a perfect opportunity for those who organized this event to just go ahead and have the kids sing the song in spite of the Principle’s ban. I would love to be able to do a post on the howling and ensuing retaliations from Principle Hawkins. I think that those who held firm with their plans would be considered heroes by most Americans.

I first was confronted with the concept of refraining from displays of love of one's county in the police academy in 1990. During one class on Ethics, the instructor indicated that the wearing of an American flag patch on the police uniform could be perceived as discriminatory by a person who is stopped by a police officer. The scenario that he brought up to illustrate his point was one in which an individual who did not like and/or respect the US could feel intimidated by seeing a symbol of the presumably hated nation on the uniform of the officer.
Although the term itself was not employed by the instructor, this was my first experience with Multiculturalism.*
I recall being more aggravated by the utter stupidity and intellectual snobbery of the instructor than I was at the idea of a person who dislikes the country enough to feel threatened by the display of the flag (But not enough to leave it).

Catholic Priest Rips Atheistic "Thought"

Father Claude Burns is Catholic priest at Holy Spirit Church in Evansville, Indiana. I first became aware of him when a teacher at my son's school (Radical Secularists, don't panic - he attends a Catholic High School) played for the students the viral rap video "Why I hate religion but love Jesus" and followed that bit by Father Burns' response. His video hammered away at every point brought up in the "Why I hate religion...” video and also provided very strong arguments in support of the necessity of organization in religion.
Firstly, a brief background on what started this:
Jefferson Bethke, a 22 year-old man, is apparently a Christian Evangelical or a Fundamentalist. A common theme of such organizations is that what they teach and believe is not religion. Religion is a term that they use to denigrate the beliefs of others. Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Mainline Protestantism, and other systems of faith are labeled as religion, while that to which they hold is spared that classification.
Even the Bible was far from a done deal. The general claim by Evangelicals/Fundamentalists that, even with all the books that were being written, read, and used for preaching, real Christians just knew what books belonged in the Bible. This ignores all the debates that went on at Church Councils, ending with the Council of Carthage, which centered on what books were to be considered inspired by God and thus to become parts of our Bibles. The question as to what books were to be included the Bible was determined by a religious body.
With Leftists, the assumption is that everything is and has been about class struggle. Nothing about the history of societal, cultural, or economic development is taken into account unless it is to demonize it.
Islam starts off with the assumption that the Koran is the perfect collection of God’s word. Contrary to the willingness of Christians and Jews to allow for critical research into the origins Old and New Testaments, no such allowance can be made in Islamic thought. This even despite the tremendous amount of evidence now known that the Koran appears to have a Syro-Aramaic Christian basis that existed long before Mohammed.
Ok, back to Jefferson’s ‘Why I hate religion…” video.

They even sought to “build a fence around the Law” to help people avoid even coming near to breaking Jewish Law. So, Jesus never indicated that his teachings did not bind, but actually stated that they did as he used the word “yoke". Therefore, if one adheres to the teachings of Jesus, he is bound, and he thusly adheres to a religion.
Father Claude Burns is Catholic priest at Holy Spirit Church in Evansville, Indiana. I first became aware of him when a teacher at my son's school (Radical Secularists, don't panic - he attends a Catholic High School) played for the students the viral rap video "Why I hate religion but love Jesus" and followed that bit by Father Burns' response. His video hammered away at every point brought up in the "Why I hate religion...” video and also provided very strong arguments in support of the necessity of organization in religion.

If my memory serves me correctly, the brawl was at the Council of Chalcedon. Many believers were terribly persecuted by other Christians who held to heretical beliefs in the early Church. St Athanasius of Alexandria, for example, was a wanted man for a long time due to his defense of the Son's proceeding from the Father without being created.

Jefferson is also apparently unaware that Jehovah's Witnesses also claim that their beliefs are not religion and that their claim seems to go back longer than does that of Evangelicals and Fundamentalists.

Ironically, religion has been around far longer than has Atheism, especially that of its Marxist flavor, yet Atheism wasted no time in far surpassing any terror that religion could dish out.
Father Claude/Pontifex nails anyone who thinks that it takes more faith to believe in God than it does to be an Atheist. His arguments that the Atheistic belief that all of the world, matter, the universe, physics, etc., can be held to be an accident actually takes more opiate-like faith than it does to believe in a creator-God will be hard to address even by the most committed Atheist.

Revised: Schindler's List Producer Disinvited From High School Graduation

The School District confirmed that Mr. Molen's invitation was rescinded because they felt that his views were too conservative.

Gerald Molen, who counts among his many achievements being a co-producer of the Movie Schindler's List, was barred from speaking at a High School graduation in the not quite ultra-liberal state of Montana.
"The reason: “some” callers had informed the principal that they were concerned about the scheduled speaker being too right-wing or having an opinion that might be counter to theirs or some other lame excuse."
Failing to do his duty, the Principle did not tell the parents that the Mr. Molen was going to speak as planned. Not only had the man prepared his speech over a period of three weeks (No fee was involved), but the dis-invitation was made an hour before the ceremony - long after the speaker had arrived in town.
The Principle never even attempted to review the speech or question Mr. Molen about it's content. He gets a phone call from parents who are concerned that their kids just might hear something contrary to the lies that they have heard from Mom and Dad and that is enough to drop the speaker.
Of course, it is OK to have Dan Savage or another anti-Christian, anti-Jew, or anti-conservative/American speaker at a school event and to allow them to use vulgar and venomous language while speaking to a captive audience.
Concerning the 'reason' above, I have heard the "some people" and similar lines more times than I can count, and they all have meant two or three people. Even if there had been a substantial amount of speakers, it should not have mattered. Mr. Molen is a respectable man who had proven himself to be a man of honor. He went out of his way to provide some inspiration for the graduates, and he gets slapped in the face for it.
He must be, rather than angry or indignant, terribly hurt.
"When I was informed of the decision, I asked to speak to the principal and he agreed to meet with me. He apologized for the inconvenience of being canceled and said the decision to cancel was his alone. He was concerned about my presentation. No, he didn’t ask me of the content. No, he didn’t ask to read the speech for any clarification as to content. No, he would not tell me who the complaining party or parties were, nor would he give me any further explanation. Just that there would be no presentation by me that day."
I know that I rail about the decline of our culture, but here is another example; the refusal not only to do one's job, but to offer pretend apologies for one's actions. When one makes, or allows oneself to be bullied into, a piss-poor decision that hurts another, the recipient does not get an apology. He gets offered half-baked "apologies" for being inconvenienced or is told "I'm sorry that you feel that way" or "I'm sorry that you were offended".

We need to start taking stands on situations such as these. I have no doubt that 99% of the parents and students were exited to hear this man speak. What haphazard speech was substituted at the last minute in place of that of Mr. Molen?
The students were not protected that day - they were treated badly by their own school administrators.
We cannot keep allowing a few troublemakers screw things up for everyone else. This applies also to the seemingly weekly reports of yet another Atheist who sues for a cross or other religious-type symbol to be removed from a public place. At some point, we need to stand out ground and factually state that, for example, our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian and politically Conservative principles. Our founders, including the rank-and-file protesters in Massachusetts in the 1770's, may have seemed radically liberal at the time, but that was because political Liberty was itself a radical concept at that time. Although our founders clearly did not establish an official Church, no one had any doubt of the part that Christian belief and Jewish thought (Much of it taken directly from that source and not filtered through Christianity) both played in their vision for the nation.
It is time to start taking our lumps for refusing to accept court decisions that cater to the selfish designs of such people. If we allow this to go on, it will do so. They are not going to stop until we stand our ground. If we follow this trend to its logical conclusion, we will have to remove even crosses and Stars of David from military cemeteries and rid the military of the Corps of Chaplains.

High School Graduation Ceremony Arrests

It's an indicator of the level to which our society has sunk when reports of arrests for disorderly conduct at High School graduation ceremonies are good news.
Our natural reaction is to assume that the police and school administrators have overreacted. I mean, how can people be ejected from, or arrested for, their child's/brother's/sister's graduation? Isn't this a day to have fun?
Thgis ignores what has been going on.
Our culture has been steadily losing its sense of protocol. Many of us want to be the the one who displays the greatest amount of approval and to do so in the loudest manner. We have decided to tell ourselves that our child will not enjoy his or her ceremony if they do not hear us cheering wildy as we did when, for example, our son drove in the tying run when his team was down to its last two outs in his Little League tournament game.
In reality, it is our own pride and selfishness that is driving these incredibly rude and unsympathetic displays.
They are terribly rude as our tradition calls for either very brief rounds of applause or, depending on the particular school's policy, an outright holding back from all applause until all the graduates have completed their walk and have sat down.
They are unsympathetic as and loud and/or sustained outburst from a selfish spectator often carry over to the announcement of the following student. While Johnny's Mom got to hear her kid's name get called, Susan's Mom did not.
At my the High School graduation of my oldest four years ago, I had witnessed several of these events occur. The worst was when a clean-cut (Blond and businesslike), athletic-looking man, who I assumed was an older brother, let loose a torrent of aggressive shouts of his graduate's name. Shouts of "Yeah, Lisa", "You did it Lisa", "Aaalright Lisa", and "Yeah!, Yeah!" went on for what had to be six or seven full seconds. This was accompanied by a repeated punching into the air in the direction of the ceremony.
That occurred over into all of the next graduate's name announcement and fully half of the one following that.
Many of the crowd, seemingly too timid to say anything to the man, nervously looked at each other and giggled.
I was furious and thought to myself that we all were fortunate that my kid's time was a few students after that. At that moment, I didn't think that I would have held back from issuing a few expletives at the jerk if mine had been one of the two following the graduate who apparently deserved more and louder congratulations than everyone else. To this day, I wonder if it would have ended with a fistfight and my arrest if my kid's announcement had been ruined and my response was met with an escalation on the part of the jerk. Mind you, I am in my mid-forties, have not thrown a punch since my High School years (When I was struck first) and at the time was over three years away from retirement from Law Enforcement. I have no doubt that my employer would not look kindly on me had anything of the sort happened.
While I got to hear her name being called and was able to set up and snap some photos, my enjoyment of that event was severely impaired since I was bracing for another possible breach of protocol from another spectator.
These school policies, including having extra cops to watch the crowd, were put into place only because so many people had decided that they would do whatever they wanted - basic manners and protocol be damned. Air horns, whistles, loud and sustained shouting had become all-to-common.
We have devolved from a culture in which people know when to be reserved into people who will run others over at toy sales or Easter egg hunts, give each other the finger or drop curse words for anything, and care nothing for the hurt feelings of parents who just wanted to treasure the moment of their kid's graduation from High School. I also have no doubt that the Graduates themselves will hear the outburst from the crowd as their own name is called and be similarly disappointed.
As the arrest demonstrated, and I also read about several nationwide last year, even what should be unnecessary pleas and warnings from school administrators are being ignored.
I don't care what the school says, I will do what I want.

Pakistani Christian Girl Gang Raped - Her Family Beaten

Another gang rape of a Christian girl by Muslims. This one occurred in Pakistan.
" 'The rape victim, a student of class six, told Civil Judge Mansoor Ahmed Warraich that Irfan, his employee Shahid and an unidentified man had kidnapped her as she walked past Irfan’s house on March 29. She said they drugged her, took her to the fields and raped her. She said she had been unable to cry out as her attackers stuffed some cloth in her mouth. She said that she woke up the next morning still in the fields, roused by family members who had been looking for her since she went missing. She said she had not gone to school since the day of the incident and never wanted to return.' "
The cops blew the family off when the tried to report the crime. They advised them to "reach a settlement" with the attackers. Normally, I would assume that this means that the victim gets to be married to her rapist, but in this case, with there being multiple rapists, I have no idea what it means.
"Parveen Bibi, the family matriarch, told The Express Tribune that they had tried to lodge a case first at Domal police chowki, then Saddar police station, Narowal, but the police refused to register an FIR and instead urged the family to reach a settlement with the accused. They refused, and around 10 days later an FIR under Section 376 (rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code was finally registered at the police station."
" 'Parveen said that the accused and others then attacked the family to put pressure on them to reach a compromise and withdraw the case. She said on May 8 Irfan, his father Safdar Ali (the retired inspector), Salman Arshad, Asad Ali, Rashid Ali and Muhammad Boota invaded their home and beat up the family. She said women and children were also beaten. As a result of the attack, she said, her daughter-in-law Nosheen gave birth a day later to two stillborn girls. ' "

He said that she had a “friendship” with Shahid and they had fornicated “with her consent” He said the family had not found the girl in the fields; she had gone home on her own."

The cops blew the family off when the tried to report the crime. They advised them to "reach a settlement" with the attackers. Normally, I would assume that this means that the victim gets to be married to her rapist, but in this case, with there being multiple rapists, I have no idea what it means.

After the cops finally gave in and allowed the charges to be lodged, the vicious thugs attacked the girl's family in their home, beating them up and causing two babies to be stillborn the following day.
The investigating officer stated that the 13 year-old girl consented to this.
Gang raping a 7th grade-age girl and beating her family members not being enough, the animals appear to have initiated a civil action against them, claiming ownership of their property.
The status of the case so far? One of them has been declared Innocent.
Although Muslims girls are also raped by their coreligionists, Christian girls are a favorite target of Muslim men who desire to rape without fearing any loss of face in their community. In places such as Pakistan or other Muslim-majority countries, the system rarely punishes the rapists. Christians are second-class citizens at best. In Europe, the leftist politicians and media enforce a strict censorship on any discussion about rape epidemics. Oh, the rapes are reported in a sluggish and obligatory fashion, but the religions and ethnicities of the rapists are almost never reported. Any mention of such will earn the label of racist or fascist.
My personal opinion is that too many Muslims view Christians women as either already conquered or in the process of being conquered (Depending on the nation in which the rapist is at the moment) and therefore subject to the pillage and rape allowed in Islamic thought. South African Farmers Still Being Gruesomely Murdered

In South Africa the lawlessness and hatred of Whites, particularly of the Boer farmers, continues.
Those who live in rural regions of South Africa are of course the most common targets. Roving bands of criminals from various tribes, some of which are not historically based in that region, routinely attack farming families. Horrific gang-rapes, deaths-by-draggings, bludgeonings and hacking with farm implements, and burnings after being doused with gasoline have reached epidemic proportions. If the farmers do not get any help from the South African government, I cannot find fault with them for taking measures to protect themselves. The world will howl in protest, and will probably gang up on them by threatening sanctions, but as far as I am concerned, the farmers (and other South African whites) have no choice. They cannot allow their families to live in perpetual fear.

Academic Calls to Retake Spain and Portugal for Islam

A Dean of Koranic studies in Gaza has renewed the call to retake the Iberian Peninsula for Islam.
The term Al-Andalus refers to the the Islamic name for that region. The most likely explanation for the origin is that it refers to the Vandal Kingdom, which existed in the south of the peninsula for a brief period after it was lost to the Western Roman Empire. The name lives on today as Andalusia.
This is by no means an isolated rant by a lone Muslim.
Aside from the obvious call to enforce Islamic rule throughout the world, a crucial part of Islamic thought is the reconquest or re-Islamization of regions that were once under Islamic rule.
The very concept of a region/nation that, after being ruled and administered by Muslims, is lost to that religious system is anathema to them. It is not sufficient to say that the fact that Muslims chafe at being reminded that nations or peoples were able to throw off Islamic rule or otherwise regain sovereignty over their territory, they view such insolence as an insult to them, Allah, and Mohammed.
The results of the Reconquista, the campaigns of liberation of the nations of Iberia that spanned over 800 years, have not been accepted by Muslims. It is their obligation to return this region to Islamic rule. Many other prominent Muslims have also called for such actions, but the one in the top link is the most recent.
This is something that is largely ignored in the West. After all, most of us have taken to the "Let bygones be bygones" position when it comes to old quarrels. This is not so in the Islamic world. Even the Crusades, which only, and in a very temporary fashion, forced Muslim rulers out of a small portion of the Near East, have come to be a routine flag of victimization to be flown by modern-day Muslims. We of course are supposed to forget that every nation outside of Arabia that fell under Islam rule did so as a direct result of Islamic aggression.
Another interesting irony is that, to the Muslim world, the Crusades were never a big deal to the Muslims when it came to discussing their history. The Muslims won the Crusades and they were content enough with that. It was only with the arrival of General Allenby and his army into Jerusalem in the waning days of the Ottoman Empire and the somewhat accompanying spectre of Zionism that the Crusades became a rallying cry in the Islamic world.
Most of us have been brought up on the sanitized version of Islamic conquest, so it is hard to understand what is going on in the minds of many Muslims. The entire Balkan region (and much that is north of that), Sicily, Spain and Portugal, the "heel" of Italy, India, and other regions that have been ruled by Muslims must be returned to Islamic rule. Presumably, this would also include former Islamic strongholds in southern France such as Fraxinetum and other cities in Italy. In Islamic thought, once a region has been ruled by Muslims, it becomes part of the House of Islam. This event, having occurred, cannot be reversed.
In summary, if you live in a region that was ever ruled by Muslims, the Muslim world will not be willing to allow your nation/people to remain free of Islamic rule forever.
The speaker also mentions that Rome must be taken. Most of is are also not aware that Muslims sacked much of Rome in 846 AD and that the eventual conquest of that city was prophesied by Mohammed.
I wrote a while back about one of the reasons that I hold motivates Muslims to take Rome. That city is the seat of the Pope, the Patriarch of the West. The ancient Christian Church was comprised of five Patriarchates. These were Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, Jerusalem, and Antioch. Out of those five, four have long been under the Islamic yoke. Whether one is a Catholic, Mainline Protestant or other Christian, it must be understood that, in Islamic thought, that Patriarchal seat must be placed under the same rule as that of the other four.

The mantra about Islam being a religion of peace and tolerance is getting old. We keep hearing about how suicide bombings (and other bombings), female genital mutilation, gang-rapes, Jihad-inspired shootings, and attacks on women and girls are just examples of Muslims who do not understand their own religion.

Seven schoolgirls are in critical condition while the rest were discharged from hospital after treatment, Public Health Director Habibullah Rostaqi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Education Director Abdul Wahab Zafari said most of the 8th grade and 10th grade students were victims to Saturday’s poisoning.
With the latest case, the number of poisoned school girls over the past one month had reached 400, he said."

Well, I guess that we have some more victims of people who do not understand Islam. The poor girls just want to learn reading, mathematics, and some science. For that they get acid in the face or poisoned.
I would like to know if there exists any individual or group that is capable of explaining Islam to the Muslims who do these things that Islam (Supposedly) forbids such acts.
It will be an uphill battle to tell them that their religion, one that actively promotes war, conquest, slavery, sequestering and beating of women, etc., actually does not do anything of the sort. I mean, if you want to get them to stop, what reference does one use? The Koran?, no the Haddiths?, not that either.
Is there any authentic and ancient source of Islamic thought that one can cite to get these people to refrain from committing such acts?
I don't think so.
