Gates of Vienna graciously posted the above post from a few few weeks ago in their news feed yesterday.
A response that the post got was understandable but telling.
The writer noted that he had left the UK and moved to Southeast Asia. He noted that he was done with the horrors of Cultural Marxism and the ongoing violence from Muslim immigrants to which his fellow citizens are subjected. He added that there were many more John Bulls who have made the same move.
- and I can't blame him for feeling that he had no other option; I had once briefly entertained the thought of doing the same myself.
What hold me back from acting out on this reactive choice though, is my deep appreciation for Western Culture (All the best aspects of it) and the understanding, from years of extensive reading of Western History. Both of these have forced me to come to the following conclusions:
That I would be running from the fight (And it will come one day), thus making the work of the Left easier for the lack of one more opposing Westerner.
That I would (If I moved my family) guarantee that, after a generation or two, their Western identity itself would be diluted in a sea of a completely foreign culture.
With either option, the Left wins - and handily so.
I am reminded of some families from the former Confederate States of America. Unwilling to accept that their (Fortunately) failed attempt to fight a war to protect their "Cornerstone of the Confederacy" would change things more than they could bear, they moved to Latin American nations such as Brazil to set up communities in what would amount to a permanent self-imposed exile. To this day, I understand that their descendants still host gatherings that mark the emigration of their ancestors, but one crucial thing must be kept in mind.
Each and every one of them that is still in Brazil is a Brazilian. (Or Cuban, Mexican, etc.)

There is of course noting wrong with that if one was born into a Brazilian family or if he wants to become a Brazilian, but I have no doubt that those who fled the Reconstruction-era South had no intention of having that result. They no doubt hoped that their children would marry those of other expatriated families and that they could continue to keep their Southern-American identity for as long as they wished.
I have a friend who so fed up with the scheming of the Bilderberg Group and other Oligarchic/Socialist mixture groups, as well as with the disastrous state of American society and politics, that he has strongly considered moving his family to China.
Where his grandchildren will become Chinese. They will be subjects of a government that (Aside from its free-marker policies for Chinese people) believes that it has the authority to limit births, prohibit firearm ownership, control the leaders of the Church, and render the individual into a body that can be ordered about by the state as it sees fit.
We, the products of the free societies of the West; institutions quite unique in the world, should not give up so easily. For over 2,500 years, too much has been sacrificed for the heirs to this culture to just let it be taken away from the world scene, at least not without a fight.
After Hannibal had dealt the Romans of the Republic their third and catastrophic defeat at Cannae, a young officer named Publius Cornelius Scipio, later to receive the appellation "Africanus", became aware of a plot of discouraged Roman officers to flee Italy and seek shelter in the court of a foreign prince. For all we know, their intention may have been to drum up support for a counter-offensive, but Scipio could not risk yet another blow to Roman morale. Bringing with him a band of loyal Romans, he confronted the plotters at sword-point and forced them to swear an oath that they would not abandon their country.
Roman and Greek exiles and subjects of ostracism also often put the nation of their birth ahead of their own bad feelings and resentment about those who had forced them out. They returned to, not only help, but lead their people when their nations were in their darkest hours. The accounts of Marcus Furious Camillus and Aristedes are just two to mention for the moment and should be read by all.
As I have noted in the earlier post, if Westerners make a conscious choice to leave their nations, the location should be given serious consideration. The country or region should be one in which Westerners can live with other Westerners and coalesce to preserve and protect all the noble aspects of Western Culture.They should take steps to ensure that their children and grandchildren will learn Western History, its attributes, its Christianity and Judaism (For Jews who are done with the Left but prefer to live in the West) and its virtues, both moral and those of work.
For now, I will leave out my position that, if everything is lost, the Future is with Russia. I will also leave out for today the possible last fights for freedom by courageous Westerners in their respective nations. What I mean to bring up now is a salvage operation in the Western world.
Even a small group of 10-20 families would be a start. If traditional Western countries (Assuming they will not allow non-Muslims to move there) can't be targeted with the intention of eventually boosting the population of ethnic Westerners, East/West mixed countries such as Poland, Croatia or another nation that has not piled on hordes of Muslim immigrants are good choices. I am almost hesitant add New Zealand or Australia as they have Christmas in the wrong season but in reality these are good choices. Here, these small communities can grow, prosper without the heavy hand of the Left, and teach their children about their history so that they can have some sense of identity and pride. Even a small remnant of a Western nation is better than none at all. In time, their example may be of benefit to those who have grown weary with what the left has done to their countries and may be the catalyst for a revival of Western Culture.
My point is that such a move would be immeasurably better than moving to China, Singapore, Costa Rica, or somewhere that, by your absence, you would effectively be complicit in the declining birthrate, which has been a main cause of the fall of every great civilization. This would also be a tremendous example to those who have no desire to become, say Chinese, but still know that something must be done. Second or third generational repatriation would also be a much easier adjustment from these countries than from a Asian nation, which fosters an entirely different mindset and make a very different person.
I think that I beat this horse to death. My point is this:
If you truly want to leave the insanity of the Western world of today, make something good come of it. Don't just retreat and let your inheritance die with you.

6 Years Jail, No Deportation For Somali Rapist of Child in Denmark

In a prosperous nation of pleasant, good-natured, and law abiding people, the indigenous have been subjected to the fearful living conditions of a third world country. In order to "elect a new people", the electorate-changing tool of multiculturalism has been employed by the Left to import hordes of immigrants from Muslim countries. Far too many of these have enthusiastically taken to following the tenets of their religion, especially when it comes to the treatment of non-Muslim females. "Those whom your right hand possesses", even young girls, are fair game when one is participating in an extended version of an Islamic "three days of pillage".
A Somali immigrant, who had already forced a 16 year-old Danish girl to perform oral sex at knife-point, was convicted of raping a 10 year-old girl. He had also committed unspecified acts or attempts of sex crimes on two other young girls.
He was sentenced to six years in jail, presumably with a chance to be released in half of that time, and he will not be deported after his release.
In the second link at top, the first victim , her uncle (No doubt seething with a latent Nordic rage at the vicious treatment of his niece and the soft treatment of her attacker), and others are interviewed (Subtitled in English). What comes next is the really gut-wrenching part; a volunteer Sonderkommando from the Danish Human Rights agency claims that he believes that the sentence was fair and that those opposed to it have the burden of proof in convincing an appeals court that the sentence was not an act of Justice.
The Left is at war with the citizens of all Western nations. In Europe, they are feverishly working to turn the indigenous of that region into helpless souls who have no political recourse - and to accept that they can not be reasonably safe in nations in which their ancestors have lived for, in some cases, over two thousand years. To paraphrase Oscar Spengler, we are living in a time when the descendants of people who had courageously accomplished so much are living as as prisoners in their own counties. Gentle treatment of criminals is seen by aggressive Muslim men as a sign of weakness. Living in a comfortable Danish prison which is a hell of a lot nicer than almost any place in Somalia will only embolden the non-Danish and result in more of these attacks.
When the ethnic Danes wake up and see that they are in real danger of being out-voted by those imported by the Left - a people with a pan-national religion who will welcome the dismantling of Danish (Or that of any other Western nation) sovereignty, and that their women are effectively advertised by their own government as "up for grabs" for the pleasure of non-Danes, things will change.

Military Standards Changing to Allow Females

They fought for Civil Unions until they got them, then they argued that Civil Unions were unfair. The demand was now marriage.
They cried about military application questions about homosexual behavior, then fought the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy that was supposed to be a compromise. The demand was now to destroy the right of the military to make decisions about who can serve in the ranks.
As Rush Limbaugh recently noted, they are assuring us that the fines and ineligibility for Obamacare benefits for illegals being put on the "Path to Citizenship" will only stand until the bill becomes Law, when they will promptly begin the fight to eliminate such unfair penalties and restrictions.
When the Clintonian changes to allow females to serve as fighter and helicopter pilots and some other military specialties that did not entail direct and sustained contact with enemy forces was put into place, we were given all sorts of assurances that this would put the question to rest.....
Then we get the following:
"Military leaders are ready to begin tearing down the remaining walls that have prevented women from holding thousands of combat and special operations jobs near the front lines.
Under details of the plans obtained by The Associated Press, women could start training as Army Rangers by mid-2015 and as Navy SEALs a year later.
The military services have mapped out a schedule that also will include reviewing and possibly changing the physical and mental standards that men and women will have to meet in order to quality for certain infantry, armor, commando and other front-line positions across the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. Under the plans to be introduced Tuesday, there would be one common standard for men and women for each job.
You read that correctly - the standards will be relaxed to enable females to pass the training courses and grueling unit training schedules. Not long ago we were told in no uncertain terms that the standards would not be changed. Catch the Newspeak? "that men and women" means that it will be easier for the males too. "One common standard" that guarantees, not mediocrity, but a train wreck of a military - a weakened, effeminate military. If standards were kept the same, perhaps one female infantry volunteer out of a hundred would pass the training course. One or two females in an infantry battalion (Out of 500 to 1,200 Marines for example) would be unfair or just prove that the elite was wrong. The remedy the unfair situation, or more likely to avoid having to admit that they were wrong, we will simply make the standards easier to meet.
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel reviewed the plans and has ordered the services to move ahead."
"The move follows revelations of a startling number of sexual assaults in the armed forces. Earlier this year, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey said the sexual assaults might be linked to the longstanding ban on women serving in combat because the disparity between the roles of men and women creates separate classes of personnel -- male "warriors" versus the rest of the force........."
A fighting force needs people capable not only of being able to shoulder and fire a weapon, but also those who can carry, extra ammunition, body armor, communications gear, sufficient quantities of water, tripods for machine guns and base plates for mortars, etc., and still be able to relentlessly deliver aimed fire at their opponents for sustained periods of time.
Another factor not taken into account by the "girls are as good as boys" mentality is that nothing guarantees that any fighting force will always be able to operate in the manner in which they expected the operation to proceed. Sure, we have tanks, armored personnel; carriers, etc, but what happens of an enemy force of substantial size is able to approach one's position and attack at close quarters? When something like this occurs, being able to shoot a weapon like it is done at a rifle range or other training conditions is only a small part of what is now needed. The enemy must me repelled by vicious and terribly violent actions that are both physically and mentally exhausting. Not only must one be able to shoot, move and communicate while carrying his rifle, he may also have to pick up a machine gun, move it to another position, set it up, and have it delivering fire in a matter of seconds. We cannot ignore the possibility that the battle will turn into a matter of who can kill whom when ammunition is not longer available. At that point, swinging rifles and the utilization bayonets, knives, entrenching tools, axes/tomahawks, and fists are what will make the difference.
Men are also much less likely to falter on a psychological level in combat. No one claims that men never suffer form Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The difference is that a man's mind is programmed to override the otherwise overwhelming fear during a high-stress situation. It is far more likely that a man, when faced with the powerful fear of being killed, will immediately be able to turn the switch and convert that fear into either a resolve to kill as many of the enemy as possible or to descend into an outright rage. A related factor is that that men are much more likely to so fear the loss of respect from their peers that would result from allowing fear to impair the ability to "keep up" in a fight that one, who would otherwise run away, will stand and fight with a fury to avoid having to be ashamed when faced with his teammates after a battle.
Even the normally mundane task of staffing a guard post at a checkpoint can turn into a maelstrom of hectic and savage violence in a second. That checkpoint is in place for a reason; it is needed both to prevent the entrance of an enemy and to serve as an observation post from with communications can be made so that reaction forces can be deployed in the event of an attack. If we allow women in combat roles, then we must allow that there will come a time when a checkpoint with be staffed entirely or almost entirely by females. In an event such as this, we are not looking at an infantry company in which one or two female soldiers are not going to make an appreciable difference in the fighting strength if the unit. At this point, those who staff the checkpoint are the fighting unit, and there is little between them and the inner perimeter of a military unit. That position must be defended with a ferocity, the nature of which is almost unimaginable. Are to assume that a force comprised of, say, experienced Taliban fighters, will be held off by females for a sufficient amount of time to deploy a reaction force to the threatened area?

General Demspey blames the warrior culture of the military - a place that has a far lesser problem with rape than our peacenik colleges, for creating an environment in which women are not safe. Dempsey also plays the Orwellian game here; he ignores the enormous problem of moral decay across the US (Fostered by the Left), and he also leaves out the fact that a civilian population would most certainly rather see US troops approaching their town than those from almost any other country. Has anyone read accounts of wholesale rape (Incudning of children) by UN Peacekeeping forces?

Our military is being gutted right before our eyes. Budget cuts and force reductions are a different issue; what we are witnessing is the destruction of the effectiveness of our front-line units.
When was the last time that you hear someone say "The problem is that no one wants to work with the other side any more."? That was a talking point straight out of the Leftist playbook - demand one destructive change after another and then pretend that the actual problem is a lack of cooperation. It's kind of like a guy that beats the hell out of his wife and chalks it up to "a marital spat".
I have rhetorically asked on several occasions what the point would be when enough is enough for the average American; the point when people stop being quiet and begin to act.
We are no longer in a position to run around with fire extinguishers, putting out fires. The people have no option other than to admit to themselves that our system is broken; run by a cabal of pseudo-intellectual Leftists hell-bent on eliminating all differences, especially those of gender. Working with them are the traitorous Generals, anxious to sell their credibility for post-retirement political appointments and CNN/MSNBC speaking contracts.
Bathed with testosterone while still in eutero, boys, unless they are psychologically and emotionally ruined by the restrictions imposed on them by prideful and shameless parents, will begin play-acting violent acts from the time that they can pick up a stick. They imagine themselves fighting and defending their family, country, or town from bad guys. They are drawn to such role-play like flies to honey. They are hard wired to not only fight, but to fight with the intent to eliminate the the opponent. Boys play-act firefighting for the very same reason; the fire is an enemy and it must be destroyed. I will never forget the impression that I received as a young boy watching the scene of the final assault on the Alamo in Disney's Davey Crockett. It did not matter to me that my side lost - I wanted to be on that wall doing what I could. To this very day, I am drawn to accounts of last-ditch acts of defense from history, Thermopylae, Acre, Constantinople, Fort St. Elmo on Malta - my sympathies are with those who refused to yield despite the odds.
This readies the male mind, not to endure in a violent environment, but often to thrive in one.
Females, unless subjected to massive and ongoing psychological trauma, will display maybe a passing interest in such play.
Our enemies are howling with laughter and rubbing their hands in anticipation of female prisoners. Why invade Christian countries for sex-slaves when the enemy will bring prospective ones to us?
If we cannot throw these people out, then the US must be separated. Left the Left have their half of the country with the only freedoms being that of any and all types of sex and to pay a doctor to kill you. Let them have a softened military - one that cannot be deployed unless our technological superiority over that of the enemy is so great that the troops will not have to engage opposing forces. As of this point, we don't know of the doctor is dead or alive.
This must be what we are still fighting, dying, and spending money for in Afghanistan.

I don't how Ms. Coulter finds the energy and resolve to keep up this fight while so many other conservatives, fearful of accusations of racism, have embraced the nation-dooming "path to citizenship". If she is ultimately successful -and the odds are not good, she will at least have bought us some time to regroup and rethink our strategies.
Ms. Coulter's efforts remind me of the historical account of King Arthur. Leading his fellow Britons to a decisive victory at Mount Badon (Or Badon Hill), he staved off the invading Saxons for a generation. Those who came after Arthur ultimately failed to match Arthur's success, but the memory of the King has lived on. The Welsh, Cornish, and even the descendants of the Anglo-Saxons have drawn inspiration from his example.
One day, our descendants may read about Ms. Coulter and wonder why so few supported her.

It is pandemonium in the US. Or, if you prefer, the inmates are running the asylum.
The Left seeks to suppress any and all attempts, or the mere thought of such, to put a stop to their plans to run the nation into the ground. Whether it is about marriage destruction, or rampant immigration that will truly "fundamentally* transform" the nation, if an individual expresses concern that the state is going too far, or is not doing its job, the consequence will be mob action, ridicule, and intrusions on your own privacy (And property). The thugs will be turned loose on you for daring to act rightly.
An email exchange that I had today got me thinking:
I know that this sounds weird coming from one who is very strongly anti-Marxist, but Western Socialism is far more subtly controlling, uglier, immoral, and plain filthier than what we saw in the USSR. The Soviets never encouraged their teenagers to do what our kids are being told to do. They never lied about what marriage is. They at least were willing to bring back some appreciation for the heroic history of the country before Communism. They may have curtailed the freedom of the Orthodox Church in Russia, but as far as I know the Kremlin did not force the Church to do anything that went against its teachings.
They never took people and forced/encouraged them to go generation after generation on welfare without having jobs.
They did not try to turn men into women and vice-versa, nor did they force gay and transsexual propaganda down our throats. Imagine a man with all male sexual organs being allowed to relax, fully naked and with legs open, in a women’s/girl’s changing room at a town pool and not being charged criminally (This is happening here in the US**) - all because “She” identifies “herself” as a woman.

Massive pollution is horrible, but radical environmentalists would never have the influence in the USSR that they have here.
I have spoken with Poles and others who left to come here, and they tell me that the old country government never as involved in their personal lives then as our government now is right here.
It may appear bizarre at first glance, but there was a degree of honor and dignity in the USSR that does not even come close to existing in the Socialism of the West. Again, if I had to choose between the two, I would go "whole hog" and take the Soviet Union over what is coming to be in the US. I would also rather fight under the command of an honorable man like Zhukov than a weak-willed Westerner who so fears the elite that he would keep his mouth shut while they wreck the army or other branch of the military.

Resolve/Success of Syrian Government Brings Accusations

The refusal of the Assad regime to roll over and die has drawn the ire of the Obama administration.
We are told that the US has evidence that the regime as used chemical weapons against the rebels, but the story does not seem to fit. We have reports - not yet refuted, that the rebels have already used the same type of weapons, but this was not enough to bring the full logistical weight of the US to bear on them. It also makes little sense to utilize weapons that are guaranteed to bring condemnation and direct intervention of the international community if your side is winning, as is the case with the regime.
Why is it OK for the rebels to use chemical weapons and not for Assad?
Leaving aside that the accusations of chemical munition usage by Assad is dubious at best, we must note that the very survival of the regime runs contrary to the entire game plan of the Obama administration. We must also note that an accusation made by the Obama administration is akin to being declared innocent. The US has enabled and supported Islamist movements virtually every time that they had the chance and each and every time that the autocrats have fallen, Christians have suffered the most. The US seems to be hell-bent on ensuring that the Near and Middle East is run by those who take the words of the Koran as literally as possible. By running the strongmen and their ruling parties out of town, we are facilitating the demise of all nation-states in this region and preparing the way for a restored caliphate.
Islam allows for lying if the purpose of the lie is to advance that particular religion (Taqiyya). The rebels have spared no effort to prove that they can be more vicious than the regime*, and I have no doubt that some rebels would use chemical weapons in a false flag operation designed to make it appear that the attack was made by forces loyal to the Syrian government. We also have no word on the identities of the victims of the purported chemical attack by the government. Were they Sunnis, Shiites, Alawites, Druze, or Christians?

If the victims were not Sunnis, then the chances that the chemical attacks were the work of the rebels (Overwhelming comprised of Sunnis) are fairly good. The reality of Taqiyya also leaves us wondering if the rebels would be conscience-stricken if a few Sunnis had to die in order to advance the rebel cause.
Russia needs to step in and make it clear that the US and Western Europe can no longer dictate terms to the Near and Middle East. There has never been a policy more contrary to both US interests and humanity itself than the ongoing support of the Islamist rebels of our era.

Trayvon Martin Jurors Comin' for a Hangin'

A white male potential juror identified on his Facebook page as Jerry Counelis gave long, rambling answers about his impartiality when asked basic questions by attorneys.
Counelis, known as panelist E-7, said he was an unemployed painter and musician and had no problem being sequestered if chosen to serve on the jury.
Circuit Judge Debra Nelson said she had a question for Juror E-7
She then asked if Counelis posted something to the Coffee Party Progressives Facebook page on March 21.
Nelson circled something on a piece of paper and handed it to him, and told him to look at it and tell the court if he posted it.
Counelis said 'yes,' and was dismissed from the room. It’s not clear if he’s been taken off the list of potential jurors.
There were several other incendiary remarks about Zimmerman and police in Sanford, Fla., where Martin was shot.
According to its Facebook page, the Coffee Party Progressives is a group “dedicated to seeking justice for Trayvon Martin.”
On March 21, Counelis wrote on its page that the justice system “needs an enema.”

I don't allow attacks such as these to go unchallenged. Whites are by no means alone in regards to things that were either clearly wrong or less than right. Societies created by whites also happen to be some of the most free, tolerant, prosperous, and safe (without tyrannical control) places on earth. They also tend to be the most fertile places for artistic, scientific, literary, recreational, and political pursuits.

In this case, however, George Zimmerman has much less to fear from a possibly prejudiced and arbitrarily-minded judge. What he does have to fear is the tide of radical liberal reaction.
To say that his lawyers have their work cut out for them would be a gross understatement. The impaneling of this jury will be the deciding factor in this trial, but even the court system will cower in fear of the likely reactions of the mob in the event of a not guilty verdict. This effect has already been seen in reports concerning what evidence the jury will be allowed to hear, such as Martin's text messages.
Our society has come to look upon troublemakers as victims, and all who make an effort to resist wrongful behavior as right-wingers, rogue vigilantes, or racists.
Hateful and white-blaming* people like Jerry Counelis, unemployed, presumably without children, and thus having no problem being on a jury for an entire month, are doing all that they can to get themselves on this trial so that they can convict Mr. Zimmerman. People with jobs who may also concerned about crime simply cannot afford to take month off from work (In the US, employers are not required to pay their employees on jury duty and many people are self employed) or leave their kids behind to be sequestered in a hotel for that amount of time.
*The media was quick to let all of us know that George Zimmerman was a "white Hispanic", and thus fully eligible for anti-white hatred and bias. White hatred by liberal whites has also become almost endemic in the US.(**See below)
This setting is ripe for all of the stay-at-homes to avenge Trayvon Martin, regardless of the latter's actions at the time of the shooting.
Families too have come to have no shame in putting up a wall to prevent any facts from affecting their perceptions. In my county in New Jersey a few years ago, a police officer shot and killed an adult male who had repeatedly taken steps that clearly put the cop in imminent fear of his life. The video in the link below shows what the actor did at the moment that the police initiated the arrest to the point when the second (Backup) officer was able to catch up with his vehicle - all with the initial contact officer having been inside of it.
When the family members were given a chance to review this video in a private setting, they decided to ignore what they witnessed and left proclaiming that they still thought that their son had been wrongfully killed. In the same manner, the Martin parents decided to pretend to believe that the cries for help on the recording were those of their son and not of George Zimmerman.
With the shooting here in New Jersey, the media here took the very same position that it did with the Trayvon Martin shooting. The deceased was painted by all as the greatest guy in the world, one who would not harm a fly. The only differences were that the sensationalized coverage was not all over the national media and no media organization tampered with the evidence to make the cop look guilty. The tampering, of course, was done to George Zimmerman on at least two occasions. Bearing false witness is a very evil thing to do.
There is a frightening movement in our society that seeks both to enable people to act as threateningly as they wish and to, through fear of prosecution (Along with death threats, etc.) , to force others into inaction.
The police, prosecutors/district attorneys and judges are poised to let Mr. Zimmerman be made a scapegoat to appease the mob and prevent more of the anti-white violence that immediately followed the shooting. I submit that we cannot let the fear of delusion-driven reaction affect the outcome of any decision, particularly legal ones.
We also need to put aside any ignorant "what about" claims that refer to injustices towards minorities in the courts from the past. We made the necessary repairs long ago. We also need to emphatically state that we will not entertain the notion that whites still need to be punished for crimes that they did not commit.

There are a few brave and honorable legislators left that will risk their careers to protect their nation.

For the life of me, I will never understand how intelligent conservatives (And there are a lot that have bought this line) have allowed themselves to be convinced that taking 11 million (Very possibly more) people who entered the nation illegally and handing them a "path to citizenship" will not doom our electorate.
I have heard the line parroted as if they had been subjected to months of re-education. "We have to secure our borders first.", "These people just want a better life.", "We can't send all of these people back.'
The respective answers:

The Democratic Party, which has more than largely been hijacked by the Left, is doing quite well in national elections. We have already brought over far more people from cultures vastly different that our own than the system can bear and still remain somewhat recognizable. Our kids are being turned into quasi or full-blown Progressives/Socialists by the primary and college school systems. We still have old die-hards from long established Italian-American and other older immigrant groups, many of who are second to fourth generation, that obstinately refuse to admit that the Democratic Party is immeasurably different than it once was.
-and our answer to this is to create over ten million more Democratic voters.
This is coming from those that are considered mavericks in the Republican Party.
I will bet my bottom dollar that, even if the current immigration bill (Or if a new one is crafted), is defended, voted on almost solely by Republicans, and is ultimately signed into Law, that Party will garner far less than 10% of the votes of the new citizens. As Hispanics have not fallen for the lie that we should have less kids, or put off having kids until we can give them everything, the ten million-plus will soon soar to a much higher total.
We are told that we just need to get Hispanics to understand that our values are closer to theirs than those of the Left. If only we can get that point across, we still get them to move away from Democratic candidates.
People vote for what is best for them in the short term, just makes them feel good, or puts off serious problems - be they economic or moral, for later generations, . We no longer look even ten years into the future. The pathetic myth of the "Catholic vote" should be sufficient in and of itself to illustrate that point. Many Catholics are barely fighting the destruction of the morals of their own kids.

She is quite right. There is no hurry. These individuals have been here for a while, yet we keep hearing that if something is not done right away, things will go awry or worse. Marco Rubio, in backing off even the terribly lame stance that we must first secure our borders, has lost all credibility. Assuming that he is a loyal American, the only explanation for his actions is that he wants the Presidency and figures that making new Hispanic voters will work in his favor.
Again, the few that do vote for him will not even be enough to make an appreciable difference.
Ann Coulter, Michelle Bachmann, and a precious few others (Note that our women are acting far more manly than the guys), may well turn out to be the last defenders of our Republic. They will be our Catos, defiantly standing in Utica and refusing to surrender to the forces that will be dismantling that for which so many sacrifices have been made.

That's right, the man who exemplifies segregation like no other has had his Party affiliation changed - and almost 15 years after his death at that.

I know that the Democrats love to have dead people vote, but I never heard of them actually doing a post-mortem change of parties for them.
Again make no mistake, Leftists live for lying about history. When they do the telling, Any historical event in Western History that deserves admiration either did not happen or, if it did, was only the action of people with purely selfish motives.
When the bad guy comes from the political party that has been fully co-opted by the Left, things are still relatively easy. As Big Brother controls the past, one can simply change what the guy was.
The Democratic Party is the party of slavery, Northern anti-war sentiment in the Civil War, Jim Crow, Segregation, staunch opposition to Civil Rights, and the Great Society. The latter transformed large swaths of a body of Americans who were creating a solid middle class and utterly ruined them, subjecting them to generation after generation of dependence on the government for their basic needs.
The history of the Democrats and Black Americans does not sit well with the story that the Left fabricates, so we have Hollerin' Howard Dean telling Blacks at the Democratic Convention that the only people of their group at the Republican Convention were the hired help. We also have Jawjackin' Joe Biden, the most vulgar public official of whom I am aware, telling Blacks that the Republicans, (From the Party of Abolition, Lincoln, and Civil Rights) would "..put y'all back in chains".
MSNBC apologized for the "R" label for Wallace, but they did not do this by accident. We are a visual-learning culture. We have grown up with TV and visual learning aids. Virtual all of us have developed some degree of a photographic memory of images. What the people saw, be they truly or willfully ignorant, (Or just lying to themselves), will be burned into their memory. The staff at MSNBC knows that, no matter how many times friends. coworkers, and family members note that the network apologized and clarified that Wallace was a Democrat, those that are more comfortable wallowing in ignorance will stick with what they saw. They will hold fast to this photo no mater how much evidence you pile on their desks.
George Wallace, prior to being the subject the most recent 'Two Minute Hate",was made to be something that he was not. The people cannot know the history of this nation, particularly when it comes to Democrats, so it must be changed. While the image of Emmanuel Goldstein's face was changed into that of a sheep, Wallace restrained his physical appearance but not his true identity.
The staff of MSNBC got what they wanted. They are at war with the truth, and we had better start fighting back.

There will come a time when they will no longer have the means to effect a necessary political movement to free themselves from Western Marxism. For some time, the UK and her daughter-nations were alone in fighting the Nazis in the Westerns theaters. After the war, the UK was then promptly moved in to the Socialist camp. It is telling that the great British Polemarch, Winston Churchill, was sacked once his work was done - his vociferous opposition to and realistic assessment of Socialism made him a danger to have around.
It is even more tragic that George Orwell, who saw and described with such clarity what happens in a Centralized Marxist state, was himself taken with the sick dream of Socialism. Like other Western Marxists, he (Possibly the only one who did so sincerely) seemed to believe that the Western nations could create independent Socialist states that would not only be worker's paradises but would also avoid all armed conflict. He avoided full-blown Communism, but appears to have deluded himself that the Leftist system of Fascism was the same as Capitalism and that he would be more free to write want he wanted in a Socialist country. If he were alive today and could see how Conservative/opposition journalists and others are treated by the establishments in the West, I think that he would see things quite differently.

The environment in out military continues to become more and more hostile to those who do not keep traditional Christian and Conservative values a secret.
The way that is works today is that, if you are gay, anti-US, anti-White, or adhere to any of the other currently protected positions, you are allowed to say whatever you want and display whatever related symbol that you desire. If, however, you affirm the truth publicly, you will be silenced.
Gay service members do not get punished (As far as I was aware) for marching in inform in Gay pride parades, but MSGT Sommers is not allowed to read books of his choice while in uniform.
I saw bits and pieces of this coming as far back as the mid 80's. Certain individuals could get away with making the most outrageous and hate-filled racist statements towards other Marines, and the most that would happen (If anything happened at all as a result) was that the entire platoon would get a talking-to. The one that actually made the statement was never addressed separately. Ronald Reagan could be referred to as a "God damned actor", but woe to the Marine that noted that Jesse Jackson (Then seeking the Democratic nomination), did not have any real political experience. The fact that, after his acting career, Reagan (Who was finishing his second term at the time of the outburst) had been a two-term governor of California, apparently did not have any bearing on the assessment of the Reverends' supporters.
Master Sergeant Sommers has been found guilty of Thought Crime. The protections given to some allow them not only to say anything that they want, but also to affect to be offended by any literature, action, or speech that does not meet the criteria established by radical liberals.
This version of totalitarianism is designed to silence people by fear. The public demonstration of beliefs that run contrary to what is allowed by those who define what is righteous will warrant punishment, so you had better be quiet. Even thinking about such things is enough to make one at fault.
We are reminded of the USSR and wartime Japan. In the former, dissent earned you a commitment at a psychiatric facility and long periods of forced dosages of drugs. In the latter, the act of being opposed to the war was illegal.
Today, the very act of (Without doing so in hiding) reading a book by Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, having a bumper sticker that is less than complementary about Obama, or supporting the institution of marriage will leave you without protection, told by your superiors that you are creating a hostile work environment, and open to charges. Since none of the acts of MSGT Sommers are illegal in and of themselves and not in direct violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, what charges are filed will likely be the products of fishing expeditions. The rest of the quoted article notes that the Army considers the bumper stickers to be in violation of the requirement that all members of the chain of command (the President being Commander-in-Chief) be respected. This presents a dangerous precedent; military members are effectively being told that their obligation to obey orders means that they must keep their traps shut, even if they are concerned this particular Commander is running the place into the ground.
I heard someone (I did not get his name) speaking on Sean Hannity's radio show today. This individual stated that he had been in contact with MSGT. Sommer's attorney and that the latter noted that the MSGT is facing an Article 15 proceeding, which is a non-judicial punishment procedure handled by a Company or Battalion commander. I hope that MSGT Sommers strongly considers refusing the Article 15 and demand a Court Marshall (Which is his right under the UCMJ). Instead of a commander just saying that MSGT Sommers was wrong and fining him, make the Army present its case in a real trial of a military court of law.
MSGT Sommers has made in to this point, so my take is-
In for a penny, in for a pound.
If you have enough evidence against me, then take me to court.
Being unable to get any support for his proposed Civilian National Security Force, Obama has taken to transforming the culture of the entire military of the US in order to prepare them to either participate in - or stand idly by while they occur, any future repressive moves against the people.

Edward Snowden joins a list of citizens who have done what to many has become unthinkable - risking - if not his Life*, but certainly his Fortune, in order to protect both the rights of his countrymen and his own Sacred Honor.
*(That of course cannot be ruled out - He is in Hong Kong now but can be sent to prison if returned to the US)
I has "has become unthinkable" as our society has come to regard one's own career and personal (Mostly financial) security far ahead of those of his fellow citizens. It is a tragic reality that we put our own interests before doing what is right. The pathetic "I have a family"excuse is all-to-often employed to justify any actions, or more likely lack of action, that one takes.
I am retired law enforcement officer. In my years there I found that agency to be a microcosm of today's American society. Contracts would be negotiated by supervising officers that benefited them while leaving officers below the rank of Sergeant to fight an uphill battle to gain fair treatment. Those who had been already promoted would, for the promise of an easy approval of an extra half of a percent for each year of their contract, agree to create a system of annual pay steps for new Sergeants. Not only did this create an unfair situation for newly-promoted Sergeants, it also installed and artificial ceiling for officers. If anew Sergeant only made X amount of dollars that a top-salary officer, then any possible raises for officers would be severely limited. Around the same time, top salary officers, at that time comprising the bulk of the rank and file officers, were also offered a deal if only that too would agree to adding several more pay steps for any new hires. They mad it to top pay in five years, new officers would need nine and a half for the same thing. Also to be dropped for new hires were bonuses for college degrees and other changes that would affect only new hires.
I argued, (For that particular contract - I lost in the next contract) vociferously and successfully to get the officers to drop that idea. I could not bear to see new officers be placed in an unfair position. One of the Sergeants that had shamelessly noted that he had voted for the new supervisor's contract because "They offered us the money", now took to trying to shame me into selling out as did he. He made repeated references that, if we lost in our negotiations, I would not be making enough money for my family. I countered by noting that my kids had a nice home, were fed and clothed well, got an annual vacation at the North Carolina coast, and that no personal benefit of mine should trump the interests of other officers.
Many years later, when drastic and dangerous cuts (Not ordered by governing authorities), along with operational changes that essentially stopped the units from functioning with any appreciable thoroughness or proficiency, other supervisors ( I was a Sergeant that time), I found the same sad reality among fellow supervisors. Each and every one of them was more concerned with avoiding drawing the ire of the administration because they so desperately wanted to be promoted to Lieutenant (Police ranks work differently from those of the military). I tried in vain to convince them that all of the rank, status and money on the world in not worth sacrificing their honor. Their officers knew that their bosses only cared for themselves, and it showed in how they dealt with their immediate supervisors.
Mr. Snowden is an anomaly today. He not only recognized that he had to put the rights of his fellow citizens above his own, he actually put his convictions into action.
Very little time to post, so I will only comment briefly on this development.

Can laws prohibiting discrimination be expanded to force businesses to provide services specially for events that run contrary to a person's beliefs?

Masterpiece Cakeshop, owned by Jack Phillips and based near Denver, Colorado, is at the center of the dispute after David Mullins and Charlie Craig attempted to order the baked good from the business last summer.
Phillips, declining to provide service after learning of the couple’s sexuality, cited his Christian beliefs. But Mullins and Craig aren’t accepting Biblical arguments as a viable basis for the refusal............
Last week, the Colorado Attorney General’s office also filed a formal complaint. If the baker loses and continues to refuse service to gays and lesbians, he could be fined $500 per instance — and given up to a year in jail, his attorney claims. Phillips will stand in front of the state’s Civil Rights Commission in September........"
The war is in full swing, except that few people will admit that this is the case. It is a war on truth, dignity, , religion principles, liberty, and one's own identity. If you have to abandon your principles in order to earn your daily bread, you are no longer free. Not only are Civil laws being used to sue people into submission but criminal laws are also being employed to hammer those who will not acquiesce to the New Order.
As I noted in an earlier post, a Jewish baker cannot refuse service to a neo-Nazi, nor can a black baker do the same for a known member of the Ku Klux Klan, but they can certainly refuse to make cakes for Hitler's birthday or the anniversary of the founding of the KKK. The same argument applies to ceremonies (In this case falsely given legislative recognition) as gay weddings. No one can refuse to hire, rent to, or provide a service to someone simply because of his sexual practices, but the Law cannot be taken to mean that a business owner must provide services for events that celebrate activities are held in observance of such practices.
They way the game is being played now betrays the news rules that have been introduced;
Civil Unions, presented as something sufficient to satisfy those who wanted legal rights commensurate with those of spouses (And fought for by gays), are now presented by the same people as insulting to gays. Not only most you accept that the title of marriage be applied to these unions, but you will also have to make cakes, floral arrangements, take photos, provide planning services, etc. Politely attempting to redirect someone to a business owner who specializes in these events will get you sued, fined and possibly jailed, and as the third of the three top links demonstrates, subjected to a massive boycott by citizens animated by an aberrant picture of righteousness.
The latter is our new Chivalry. Those who fight for the legal allowance to kill the unborn, keep parents ignorant of their own child's plight, force employers to pay for abortifacients, and raise a fist in defiance of God and our culture by joining in on the war on marriage are the noble defenders of society.
I prefer the actual code:
Protect the weak, defenseless, helpless, and fight for the general welfare of all.

One must keep in mind that governments do not have creative powers. They cannot bring rights into existence. The State is given the power to regulate and protect institutions such as marriage to prevent abuses. These would include underage brides, one spouse who is still legally married to another, etc.
Marriage existed long before any government; therefore a government cannot,despite any legislative hoop-jumping, create the legality of a marriage that, by its very nature, cannot exist. Any law that presents itself as such is nothing more than play-acting by the State.
I once believed that the primary reason for using statutory powers to pretend that same-sex marriages exist was to destroy the family While I still believe that this is the primary purpose for some, I have come to think that others have a more insidious purpose for this.
-The purpose is to establish full governmental control of society and all of its people.
Think about it. If the State can force people to act as if a government can bring the impossible into existence, and force everyone to go along with it, then what is it incapable of doing or forcing? If a society accepts that the State can conjure up institutions by going through the motions of making laws, what can stop them from removing rights or creating others that infringe on the Liberties of the rest of the people?
At what point will enough be enough for you?
